Dear all, in just two weeks, Chanika—the "dog mom" from Tangalle—will receive the funds from the fundraiser I’ve organized for her. Our will deliver them to her personally.

To everyone who cares about the well-being of dogs and would like to contribute to this noble cause, I warmly invite you to join the fundraiser. 🐾 Support Chanika and her 90 rescues in Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰
A month ago, we launched a fundraiser for Chanika Daluwaththa, who runs a private dog shelter in Tangalle. Looking after over 90 dogs while working as a teacher is a heroic task, and now Chanika is facing serious health issues alongside financial struggles.
How you can make a difference:
• No government aid – she relies entirely on people like us.
• Desperate need for staff – $6 (the price of a latte) covers a full day’s wage for a worker to help Chanika with daily chores.
• We’ve raised 4810 PLN so far, securing food for 2 months. Our goal is 10,000 PLN to provide long-term stability.

Chanika is currently caring for over 90 dogs all by herself, and the workload has become overwhelming. From feeding and cleaning to providing much-needed love, it’s simply too much for one person to handle.

💔 SOS: We are heartbroken and in debt! 💔
Dearest Friends,
The situation is dramatic. Over the last few days, despite intensive veterinary care, 4 of our dogs have passed away. 🌈 We are devastated, but the tragedy doesn't end there.
We are left with huge veterinary debts that we cannot pay. We fought for their lives until the very end, and now we are facing a financial wall.
We are pleading for your support! Chanika cannot do this alone. She is exhausted and overwhelmed by these costs. Please, help us settle these bills so we can continue caring for the dogs still with us.
