Ms. G. Naganandhini, President of LFRO, Nallur Division of Jaffna District, organized a project in the interests of Children who have lost their parents and live under the care of guardians, who often face challenges in education, language skills, arts, and physical development. Having understood the strong need for a safe, caring, and supportive learning space to ensure their holistic growth.
Initially she started this on her own expenses and if she could find well wishers and donors, she could extend the capacity of the beneficiaries so that we will have a future of decent, healthy, educated and wealthy communities.
යාපනය දිස්ත්රික්කයේ නල්ලූර් කොට්ඨාශයේ LFRO හි සභාපතිනි ජී. නාගන්දිනී මහත්මිය, දෙමාපියන් අහිමි වී භාරකරුවන්ගේ රැකවරණය යටතේ ජීවත් වන, අධ්යාපනය, භාෂා කුසලතා, කලා සහ භෞතික සංවර්ධනය යන අංශවල අභියෝගවලට බොහෝ විට මුහුණ දෙන දරුවන්ගේ අවශ්යතා සඳහා ව්යාපෘතියක් සංවිධානය කළාය. ඔවුන්ගේ පරිපූර්ණ වර්ධනය සහතික කිරීම සඳහා ආරක්ෂිත, සැලකිලිමත් සහ සහායක ඉගෙනුම් අවකාශයක ඇති දැඩි අවශ්යතාවය තේරුම් ගෙන ඇත.
මුලින් ඇය මෙය ආරම්භ කළේ ඇගේම වියදමින් වන අතර ඇයට සුභ පතන්නන් සහ පරිත්යාගශීලීන් සොයා ගත හැකි නම්, යහපත්, සෞඛ්ය සම්පන්න, උගත් සහ ධනවත් ප්රජාවන්ගේ අනාගතයක් අපට ලැබෙන පරිදි ප්රතිලාභීන්ගේ ධාරිතාවය පුළුල් කළ හැකිය.
யாழ்ப்பாண மாவட்டத்தின் நல்லூர் பிரிவின் LFRO இன் தலைவர் திருமதி ஜி. நாகநந்தினி, பெற்றோரை இழந்து பாதுகாவலர்களின் பராமரிப்பில் வாழும் குழந்தைகளின் நலன்களுக்காக ஒரு திட்டத்தை ஏற்பாடு செய்தார், அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் கல்வி, மொழித் திறன்கள், கலைகள் மற்றும் உடல் வளர்ச்சியில் சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர். அவர்களின் முழுமையான வளர்ச்சியை உறுதி செய்வதற்கு பாதுகாப்பான, அக்கறையுள்ள மற்றும் ஆதரவான கற்றல் இடத்தின் வலுவான தேவையைப் புரிந்துகொண்டார்.
ஆரம்பத்தில் அவர் இதை தனது சொந்த செலவில் தொடங்கினார், மேலும் அவர் நலம் விரும்பிகள் மற்றும் நன்கொடையாளர்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடிந்தால், அவர் பயனாளிகளின் திறனை விரிவுபடுத்த முடியும், இதனால் நாம் ஒழுக்கமான, ஆரோக்கியமான, படித்த மற்றும் பணக்கார சமூகங்களின் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பெறுவோம்.

Background:
Children who have lost their parents and live under the care of guardians often face challenges in education, language skills, arts, and physical development. There is a strong need for a safe, caring, and supportive learning space to ensure their holistic growth.
Project Objective:
• Provide basic education to children
• Develop language skills in English and Sinhala
• Offer one nutritious meal during each session
• Encourage talents in arts, painting, and cultural activities
• Support social and mental well-being of the children
Beneficiaries:
20 children (orphans / children under guardianship)
Days of Operation:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (three days per week)
Key Activities:
1. Teaching basic subjects (Tamil, Mathematics, Environmental Studies)
2. Language learning (English & Sinhala)
3. Art and painting sessions
4. Physical education and sports
5. Providing one healthy meal
6. Small skill-building programs (storytelling, drama, singing, etc.)
Expected Outcomes:
• Improved academic performance
• Better communication skills and multilingual abilities
• Enhanced physical and mental health
• Confident and socially responsible young individuals
