Maris Stella College Negombo Old Boys Association Maris Stella College OBA has come to being in the year 1927 and current membership stands over three thousand life members. We are the alumni parent body.

College OBA has come to being in the year 1927. At the initial stage it was decided to go by the name “Maristonians” and was chaired by the Brother Principal of the school. Subsequently management was transferred to lay old boys and the name was changed to the present name, “Old Boys’ Association”. Very first layman to head the OBA was Mr. R I Fernandopulle and at the beginning activities was very

limited both in scope and the number of members. With time both the membership as well as activities grew and the level of management changed to more professional. As a result OBA now can boast of its own unique and ultra modern centre with a conference hall, general lounge and exclusive modern member’s lounge of their own which is unique as no other OBA Association in Sri Lanka could claim. Current membership stands over two thousand three hundred life members. It is managed by a very dedicated committee of 36 members. Annual events open to all its members includes College Feast with fellow ship branded as Red & Blue, Marist Motor Rally, Dance and spiritual activities in the lent season and year end thanks giving Holy Mass. Board of Management changes every year in December at the Annual General Meeting, held in the month of December,
