ශ්‍රි ලංකාවට බලපෑ ගංවතුර ව්‍යසනය තුළින් පීඩාවට පත් ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ කටාන ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ ජනතාවගේ පරිහරණය සඳහා අවශ්‍යවන සනීපාරක්ෂක ද්‍රව්‍ය හා ඔවුන්ගේ අනිකුත් අවශ්‍යතාවන් සඳහා මුදල් පරිත්‍යාගයක් 2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 11 වන දින කටාන ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේදී ගරු ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් A.S.J.P. අතුකෝරළ මහත්මියට ලබාදීම ප්‍රජාසහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.
The Community Brotherhood Organization donated sanitary materials and other necessities to the people of Katana Divisional Secretariat Division in Gampaha District, who were affected by the flood disaster that affected Sri Lanka, to the Honorable Divisional Secretary Mrs. A.S.J.P. Athukorala on 11th December 2025 at the Katana Divisional Secretariat Office.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් දරුවන්ගේ පෞරුෂය සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් 2025 නොවැම්බර් මස 07 දින මීගමුව අධ්‍යාපන කලාපයට අයත් බප/මීග/ කොන්දගම්මුල්ල කනිෂ්ඨ විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් 25 දෙනෙකු සඳහා පෞරුෂ සංවර්ධන වැඩසටහනක් පවත්වන ලදි. මෙහිදි දරුවන් තුළ යටපත්ව ඇති කුසලතා, ඉදිරිපත්වීමේ කුසලතා මෙන්ම පාසල් පරිසරය තුළ වඩාත් සක්‍රිය ලෙස කටයුතු කිරීම හා පෞරුෂය සංවර්ධනය කරගන්නා ආකාරය පිලිබඳව පුහුණු කරන ලදි.

With the aim of developing the personality of children, the Community Brotherhood Organization conducted a personality development program for 25 children of BPA/Meega/Kondagamulla Junior School in the Negombo Education Zone on November 7, 2025. Here, the children were trained on the hidden talents, presentation skills, how to be more active in the school environment, and how to develop their personality.

ඩාබිඳු සාමුහිකය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන ප්‍රජාවේ ලිංගික හා ප්‍රජනන අයිතිවාසිකම් බලගැන්වීම තුළින් ප්‍රජාවේ හඬ ශක්තිමත් කිරීමේ පියවරක් ලෙස ප්‍රජාව දැනුවත් කිරීමේ නිවාරණ වැඩසටහනක් 2025 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 22 වෙනි දින දහවල් 2.30 සිට සවස 5.30 දක්වා මීගමුව දඵපත දී පැවැත්විණි. මෙම වැඩසහටහන සංවිධානය කිරීම හා මෙහෙයවීම ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් සිදුකළ අතර කාන්තා ප්‍රජා නායිකාවන් ඉලක්ක කණ්ඩායම ලෙස මෙම දැනුවත් කිරීමට සහභාගිත්වය ලබාදෙන ලදි.
As a step towards strengthening the voice of the community through empowering the sexual and reproductive rights of the community, implemented by the Dabindu Collective, a community awareness prevention program was held at the Negombo Dalupotha on 22nd September 2025 from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The program was organized and conducted by the Community Brotherhood Organization, and female community leaders participated in this awareness as the target group.

ඩාබිඳු සාමුහිකය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන ප්‍රජාවේ ලිංගික හා ප්‍රජනන අයිතිවාසිකම් බලගැන්වීම තුළින් ප්‍රජාවේ හඬ ශක්තිමත් කිරීමේ පියවරක් ලෙස ප්‍රජාව දැනුවත් කිරීමේ නිවාරණ වැඩසටහනක් 2025 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 22 වෙනි දින උදෑසන 9. 00 සිට දහවල් 12.00 දක්වා කටාන නුගවැල ප්‍රජාශාලාවේදි පැවැත්විණි. මෙම වැඩසහටහන සංවිධානය කිරීම හා මෙහෙයවීම ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් සිදුකළ අතර කාන්තා ප්‍රජා නායිකාවන් ඉලක්ක කණ්ඩායම ලෙස මෙම දැනුවත් කිරීමට සහභාගිත්වය ලබාදෙන ලදි.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් කටාන සහ මීගමුව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාස දෙක තුළ ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලැබු වැලැක්වීම සහ බල ගැන්වීම වැඩසටහන යටතේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ කාන්තාවන් සහ ගැහැණු ළමුන්ට ලිංගික හා සමාජභාවය මත පදනම්ව සිදුවන හිංසනය පිලිබඳව සිදුකළ “නිහඬ කඳුලු” අධ්‍යයන වාර්තාව එලි දැක්වීම මීගමුව The Lawn උත්සව ශාලාවේ දී සිදුවිය. මේ සඳහා ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරින්, නීති ආධාරක ආයතන නිළධාරින්, සෞඛ්‍යය නිළධාරින්, රාජ්‍ය නොවන සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින්, මාධ්‍යවේදීන් හා ප්‍රතිපත්ති සම්පාදකයන් ඇතුලු පිරිසක් සහභාගි විය. අධ්‍යයන වාර්තාව එලි දැක්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව ප්‍රතිපත්ති සම්පාදනය පිලිබඳව වටමේස සාකච්ඡාවක් සිදුකරන ලදි.
The launch of the “Silent Tears” study report on gender-based and social violence against women and girls in Sri Lanka under the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization in the Katana and Negombo Divisional Secretariats was held at The Lawn, Negombo. A group of people including government officials, legal aid agency officials, health officials, NGO representatives, journalists and policy makers from the Gampaha district participated in this. Following the launch of the study report, a roundtable discussion was held on policy formulation.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැලැක්වීම සහ බලගැන්වීම වැඩසටහන යටතේ කටාන සහ මීගමුව මුල් ළමාවිය සංවර්ධන ගුරුවරුන් 32 ක් සඳහා SGBV වැලැක්වීම සහ දරුවන්ගේ පෞරුෂය ගොඩනැගීම පිලිබඳ පුහුණු වැඩමුළුවක් කටාන දෙමන්හන්දියේදී පැවැත්විණි. මෙහිදි දරුවන් මුහුණ දෙන ගැටලු සහ ගුරුවරුන් මුහුණ දෙන ගැටලු ද හඳුනාගත් අතර මෙම වැඩමුළුවේ සම්පත් දායකත්වය උපදේශනය මනෝවිද්‍යාඥ ආචාර්ය දනුෂ්ක ගනේගොඩ මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.
A training workshop on SGBV prevention and child development was held at Demanhandiya, Katana for 32 early childhood development teachers from Katana and Negombo under the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization. The problems faced by children and teachers were identified and the resource contribution and consultation of this workshop was done by Psychologist Dr. Danushka Ganegoda.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැලැක්වීම සහ බලගැන්වීම වැඩසටහන යටතේ කාන්තාවන් සහ ගැහැණු දරුවන්ට සිදුවන හිංසනයන් වැලැක්වීම පිලිබඳව ප්‍රජාවේ ආකල්ප,කුසලතා,දැනුම සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණ සහිතව මීගමුව පලඟතුරය හා ප්‍රධාන බස්නැවතුම්පොලේ දී වීදි නාට්‍යය වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්විණි. අත්ප්‍රතිකා බෙදාදීම හා ජනතාවගේ අදහස් ලබා ගැනීම ද මෙහිදී සිදුවිය. හාර්ට් ආර්ට් වීදි නාට්‍ය කණ්ඩායම විසින් වීදි නාට්‍ය ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදි.
Under the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization, a street drama program was held at the Negombo Palangathurai and Main Bus Stand with the aim of developing the attitudes, skills and knowledge of the community on preventing violence against women and girls. Handouts were distributed and the views of the people were also collected. The street drama was presented by the Heart Art Street Drama Group.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැලැක්වීම සහ බලගැන්වීම වැඩසටහන යටතේ කාන්තාවන් සහ ගැහැණු දරුවන්ට සිදුවන හිංසනයන් වැලැක්වීම පිලිබඳව පාසල් ළමුන්ගේ ආකල්ප කුසලතා සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණ සහිතව මීග/ පිටිපන ජාතික පාසලේදී වීදි නාට්‍යය වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්විණි. මේ සඳහා පාසලේ ඉගෙනුම ලබන දරුවන් සහභාගි වූ අතර හාර්ට් ආර්ට් වීදි නාට්‍ය කණ්ඩායම විසින් වීදි නාට්‍ය ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදි.
A street drama program was held at Neg/ Pitipana National School with the aim of developing the attitudes and skills of school children on preventing violence against women and girls under the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization. Children studying at the school participated in this and the Heart Art Street Drama Group presented street dramas.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැලැක්වීම සහ බලගැන්වීම වැඩසටහනට අදාලව කාන්තාවන් සහ ගැහැණු දරුවන්ට සිදුවන හිංසනය වැලැක්වීම සඳහා ප්‍රජාව දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වීදි නාට්‍ය වැඩසටහන් මාලාවේ තවත් අදියරක් 2025 ජුනි මස 19 වන දින මීගමුව ප්‍රාදේශීය මහලේකම් කාර්යාලයේදී මීගමුව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් රසිකා මල්ලවආරච්චි මහත්මියගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පවත්වන ලදි. එහිදි අත් ප්‍රතිකා බෙදා දීම හා රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරින්ගේ අදහස් ලබා ගැනීම ද සිදුවිය. හාර්ට් ආර්ට් වීදි නාට්‍යය කණ්ඩායම විසින් මෙම වීදී නාට්‍යය ඉදිරිපත් කළ අතර මේ සඳහා මීගමුවේ සමෘද්ධි බැංකුවේ නිළධාරින්, රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරින් සමගින් ප්‍රජාව ද සහභාගි වෙන ලදි.
Another phase of the series of street drama programs to raise awareness among the community about violence against women and girls in relation to the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization was held on 19th June 2025 at the Negombo Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of Negombo Divisional Secretary Rasika Mallawarachchi. Handouts were distributed and views of government officials were also sought. The Heart Art Street Drama Group presented this street drama and the community also participated in this along with officials of Samurdhi Bank, Negombo, and government officials.

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැලැක්වීම සහ බල ගැන්වීම වැඩසටහන යටතේ නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ආයතනවල නිළධාරින් හා සෞඛ්‍ය නිළධාරින් ඉලක්ක කරමින් මීගමුව පොලිස් කොට්ඨාසයට අයත් පොලිස් ස්ථාන 12 ක ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශයේ නිළධාරිනියන්ගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් දැනුම, කුසලතා, ආකල්ප හා යහපත් මහජන සම්බන්ධතා ගොඩනැගීම පිලිබඳ උපදේශන වැඩමුළුවක් කටාන දෙමන්හන්දියේ දී පවත්වන ලදි. මීගමුව ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශයේ ස්ථානාධිපතිනි R.M. නිලන්ති රත්නායක මහත්මිය ඇතුලු නිළධාරින් කණ්ඩායමක් මේ සඳහා සහභාගි වූ අතර වැඩමුළුවේ පුහුණුකරු ලෙස මනෝවිද්‍යා උපදේශක ආචාර්ය දනුෂ්ක ගනේගොඩ මහතා කටයුතු කරන ලදි.
Under the Prevention and Empowerment Program implemented by the Community Brotherhood Organization, a counseling workshop on building knowledge, skills, attitudes and good public relations was held at Katana Demanhandiya with the participation of officers of the Children and Women's Bureau of 12 police stations under the Negombo Police Division, targeting law enforcement officers and health officers. A group of officers including the OIC of the Negombo Children and Women's Bureau, Mrs. R.M. Nilanthi Ratnayake, participated in this and the workshop was conducted by Dr. Danushka Ganegoda, a psychological consultant.

"සමාජයීය සාධාරණය වෙනුවෙන්."
කාන්තාවන්ට පුරුෂයන් මෙන් සමාජයේ සමාන අයිතිවාසිකම් සහ අවස්ථා ලැබිය යුතුය. කාන්තාවන් ඇගයීම සමාජයීය සාධාරණත්වය පිහිටුවීමට වැදගත් වේ.
කාන්තාවන්ගේ දක්ෂතා හා හැකියාවන් ආර්ථික ක්ෂේත්‍රයන්හි යොදා ගැනීම රටක ආර්ථිකය දියුණුවට පත් කරයි. කාන්තාවන් ව්‍යාපාරිකයින්, රාජ්‍ය සේ වකයින්, ප්‍රතිපත්ති සම්පාදකයන්, පරිපාලනයන් හා නව්‍යකරණයන් ලෙස සාර්ථකත්වය දක්වයි.
"පරපුරක ආරක්ෂාව සහ අධ්‍යාපනය සඳහා."
කාන්තාවන් විශේෂයෙන්ම දරුවන් දිරිමත් කරයි. ඔවුන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපනය, සත්කාරකභාවය සහ වටපිටාව පිළිබඳව ඇති සලකා බැලීම පරපුරකට සාධාරණ ලොවක් ගොඩනඟයි. එම අරමුණු මුල්කරගෙන ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානය විසින් පසුගියදා සුවිශේෂි කාන්තාවන් දෙපලක් ඇගයීමට ලක් කරන ලදි. කටාන ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් ගරු A.S.J.P අතුකෝරළ මහත්මිය සහ මීගමුව ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශයේ ස්ථානාධිපතිනි ගරු R.M නිලන්ති රත්නායක මහත්මිය මෙසේ ඇගයීමට ලක් වූ අතර ඔවුන් දෙපල සිදු කරන සේවාව වෙනුවෙන් මෙම සුවිශේෂි ඇගයීම සිදුවිය.
"For social justice."
Women should receive equal rights and opportunities in society as men. Valuing women is important for establishing social justice.
Utilizing women's talents and abilities in economic sectors improves the economy of a country. Women are successful as businessmen, public servants, policy makers, administrators and innovators.
"For the safety and education of a generation."
Women especially encourage children. Their education, hospitality and consideration for the environment build a fair world for a generation. Based on these objectives, the Community Brotherhood Organization recently recognized two special women. Katana Divisional Secretary Hon. A.S.J.P Athukorala and Negombo Children and Women's Bureau OIC Hon. R.M Nilanthi Ratnayake were recognized and this special recognition was given for the service they both provide.
