🏐 Play for Nature Volleyball Tournament 2025 – Kalpitiya | Highlights!
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the “Play for Nature” Volleyball Tournament held at the Mudalaippali Volleyball Court, Kalpitiya, on 31st August 2025 (day & night).

🏆 Congratulations to Kandakuliya for clinching the championship!
​​🥈 Mudalaippali School finished as runners-up, and
​🥉 Mudalaippali adult team secured 3rd place.

Kudos to all teams—especially the 12 teams and 140+ players aged 18–50 from across the Kalpitiya Peninsula who participated.
This event was organized by the Bio Conservation Society (BCSL) with funding from “Play for Nature” and APRC Mécénat – France, in collaboration with New Akbar Seven Seas Sports Club of Mudalaippali and community leaders in Kalpitiya. More than just a competition, it was a vibrant gathering of government officials, fisheries society leaders, and community members—all united for a cause.

The Bio Conservation Society (BCSL) successfully hosted the "Play for Nature" Volleyball Tournament on August 31, 2025 from 8.00am till midnight (Day and night tournament), at the Mudalappali Volleyball Court in Kalpitiya. Held under its powerful theme, the event aimed to raise awareness among the people of the Kalpitiya peninsula for the conservation of coastal biodiversity, including its precious sea turtle populations. This event, organized by the Bio Conservation Society (BCSL) with funding from "Play for Nature" and APRC Mécénat – France. The tournament was made possible with the valuable support of the New Akbar Seven Seas Sports Club of Mudalappali, Kalpitiya.The local community attended in great numbers, and their enthusiastic support for the players was vital in spreading the important message of environmental protection.

ජෛව සංරක්ෂණ සංගමය මඟින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද "සොබාදහම සඳහා ක්‍රීඩාව" වොලිබෝල් තරඟාවලිය, 2025 අගෝස්තු මස 31 වෙනි දින පෙරවරු 8.00 සිට මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රිය දක්වා කල්පිටිය, මුදලප්පාලි වොලිබෝල් පිටියේදී (දිවා රාත්‍රී තරඟාවලියක් ලෙස) ඉතා සාර්ථක ලෙස පවත්වන ලදී. ජෛව සංරක්ෂණ සංගමය මඟින් සංවිධානය කරන වොලිබෝල් තරඟාවලිය 2025 අගෝස්තු මස 30,31 දිනවලදී කල්පිටිය, මුදලප්පාලි වොලිබෝල් පිටියේදී පැවැත්වේ (අගෝස්තු මස 30 ප.ව. 3.30 තරඟාවලිය ආරම්භවේ). කල්පිටිය අර්ධද්වීපයේ “මුහුදු කැස්බෑවුන් ඇතුළු වෙරළබඩ ජෛව විවිධත්වය” සංරක්ෂණය ප්‍රජාව අතර ප්‍රචලිත කිරීමට "සොබාදහම සඳහා ක්‍රීඩාව" තේමාවෙන් මෙම තරඟාවලිය පැවැත්වේ. කල්පිටිය, මුදලප්පාලි New Akbar Seven Seas ක්‍රීඩා සමාජය තරඟාවලිය සංවිධාන කටයුතුවලට සහායවේ. තරඟාවලිය නැරඹීමට පැමිණ ක්‍රීඩකයින් දිරිගැන්වීම සමඟින් අපේ පරිසරය ආරක්‍ෂා කිරීමේ පණිවිඩය බෙදාහැරීමට දායකවන ලෙස ආරාධනා කරමු.

இயற்கைக்காக விளையாட்டு - 2025
கரப்பந்தாட்ட சுற்றுப்போட்டி கல்பிட்டி குடாநாடு
உயிர் காப்பு சங்கம் ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ள கரப்பந்தாட்ட சுற்றுப்போட்டி 2025 ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் 30 மற்றும் 31 ஆம் திகதிகளில் கல்பிட்டி, முதலைப்பாழி கரப்பந்தாட்ட மைதானத்தில் இடம்பெறவுள்ளது.
இப்போட்டிகளில் 18 -45 வயதுக்கிடைப்பட்ட 12 அணிகளைச் சேர்ந்த 144 (ஆண்) வீரர்கள் பங்குபற்றுகின்றனர்.
கல்பிட்டி குடாநாட்டில் "கடலாமைகள் உட்பட கடலோர உயிர்ப் பல்வகைமை " பாதுகாப்பினை மக்கள் மத்தியில் பிரபல்யப்படுத்துவதற்காக "இயற்கைக்காக விளையாட்டு " என்ற தொனிப்பொருளில் இச்சுற்றுப்போட்டி நடத்தப்படுவதுடன் கல்பிட்டிப் பிரதேசத்தில் சுமார் 12 ஆண்டுகளாக உயிர் காப்பு சங்கம் மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்ற சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளின் புதியதோர் அங்கமாக இது இடம்பெறுகின்றது.
கல்பிட்டி, முதலைப்பாழி New Akbar Seven Seas விளையாட்டுக் கழகம் இப்போட்டி ஏற்பாடுகளில் உதவுகின்றது.
இப்போட்டிகளைக் காண வருகை தந்து விளையாட்டு வீரர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதுடன் நமது சூழலைப் பாதுகாக்கும் செய்தியை மக்கள் மத்தியில் கொண்டு செல்வதில் பங்கு கொள்ளுமாறு அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றோம்.
