🌕🙏 We successfully started the Kandy English Dhamma School on the auspicious Vesak Poya Day!

📖 We discussed the importance of Sīla (virtue) and began learning the inspiring life story of the Buddha.

🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ The children practiced Loving-Kindness (Mettā) Meditation, chanted Pirith Suttas, and learned about the first great quality of the Buddha.

📚 They also learned the first part of a Buddhist story and studied the first verse of the Dhammapada.

🌱 It was a wonderful new experience for the children and a valuable opportunity to expose them to the Noble Dhamma.

☸️ May this be the beginning of a meaningful journey of learning, wisdom, and spiritual growth, guiding them toward compassion, understanding, and lifelong learning.
