This programme brings together Malaiyaga traditions, cultural music, poetry, and community celebration in one shared space. The event will take place on Saturday, 10th January, from 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM at Kottagala. The programme includes traditional dance performances, cultural music, food stalls, and poetry, and entry is completely free. Your presence will add meaning and strength to this collective celebration, and we look forward to welcoming you.

சத்சர நிமேஷின் கொடூர சித்திரவதை குறித்து அருவி மலையக குயர் அமைப்பு கண்டனம்.

வெலிகட காவல்துறையினரால் மனிதாபிமானமற்ற முறையில் சித்திரவதைக்கு ஆளான சத்சர நிமேஷ் என்ற இளைஞரின் சோகமான மரணம் குறித்து அருவி மலையக குயர் அமைப்பை சேர்ந்த நாம் ஆழ்ந்த வருத்தத்துடனும் ஆத்திரத்துடனும் எங்கள் இரங்கலையும் கண்டனத்தையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறோம். போலீஸ் காவலில் இருந்தபோது அவர் அனுபவித்த சித்திரவதைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து, ஏப்ரல் 2,2025 அன்று நிகழ்ந்த அவரது மரணம், அதிகார துஷ்பிரயோகம் மற்றும் நமது நீதி அமைப்பிற்குள் தொடர்ந்து மனித உரிமைகள் மீறப்படுவதை நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

சத்சர நிமேஷின்‌‌ மரணத்திற்கு உடனடி பொறுப்புக்கூறலுக்கும் நீதிக்கும் அழைப்பு விடுக்கும் சேனக பெரேரா மற்றும் கைதிகள் உரிமைகள் பாதுகாப்புக் குழுவுடன் (சிபிஆர்பி) நாங்கள் ஒற்றுமையுடன் நிற்கிறோம்.

எந்தவொரு மனிதனும் இத்தகைய வன்முறையைத் தாங்க வேண்டியதில்லை, குறிப்பாக பாதுகாக்கவும் சேவை செய்யவும் வேண்டிய ஒரு அமைப்பினரான காவல்துறையின் மிருகத்தனத்தை ஒழிப்பதற்கும், அவர்களின் பின்னணியைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் அனைத்து தனிநபர்களது மனித உரிமைகள் பாதுகாக்கப்படுவதை உறுதி செய்வதற்கும் அவசர மற்றும் அர்த்தமுள்ள நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்க அரசாங்கத்திற்கு இந்த சம்பவம் மற்றொரு அழைப்பாகும்.

வாழ்வதற்கான உரிமை, கண்ணியம் மற்றும் நீதியை சமரசம் செய்ய முடியாது. வன்முறையால் மற்றொரு இளம் உயிர் இழப்புக்கு நாங்கள் இரங்கல் தெரிவிக்கும்போது, இந்த கொடூரமான செயலுக்கு காரணமானவர்கள் பொறுப்புக்கூறப்பட வேண்டும் என்று நாங்கள் கோருகிறோம்.

Aruvi Malaiyaga Q***r Network Condemns the Brutal Torture of Satsara Nimesh

It is with deep sorrow and outrage that we, at Aruvi Malaiyaga Q***r Network, express our condolences and condemnation regarding the tragic death of Satsara Nimesh, a youth who was subjected to inhuman torture by the Welikada Police. His death on April 2, 2025, following the torture he endured while in police custody, is a stark reminder of the systemic abuse of power and the continuous violation of human rights within our justice system.

We stand in solidarity with Senaka Perera and the Prisoner Rights Protection Committee (CPRP) in calling for immediate accountability and justice for Satsara Nimesh. No human being should ever have to endure such violence, especially within a system that is supposed to protect and serve.

This incident is another call to action for the government to take urgent and meaningful steps towards eliminating police brutality and ensuring the protection of human rights for all individuals, regardless of their background. The right to life, dignity, and justice cannot be compromised.

As we mourn the loss of yet another young life due to systemic violence, we demand that those responsible for this heinous act be held accountable. We call for an end to the culture of torture within the police force and for reforms that uphold the rights and dignity of every individual, especially those from marginalized communities.

Let us unite in our fight to put a stop to police torture and ensure that such a tragedy is never repeated. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Satsara Nimesh during this difficult time.

සත්සර නිමේශ් තරුණයාගේ මරණය පිලිබඳව කණගාටුව මෙන්ම අපගේ දැඩි අප්‍රසාදයත් හෙලා දැකීමත් පලකරමු. 2025-අප්‍රේල් 02 වන දින එනම් ඊයේ දින වැලිකඩ පොලීසියේ අත්තඩංගුවෙර් සිටියදී ඉතා අමනුශික අන්දමේ පීඩාවන් හේතුවෙන් සිදුව ඇති මෙම මරණය නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමෙ හා පසිඳලීමේ යාන්ත්‍රණයේ බලය අපහරණය කිරීමත් ඒ හරහා සිදුවන මානවහිමිකම් අමු අමුවේම උල්ලඝනය වීමත් මනා ලෙස විදහා දක්වයි..

මෙම තරුණයාගේ මරණය සමග අප ශෝකීවනවා සේම එයට වගකිවයුතු සියලු දෙනා නීතිය ඉදිරියේ නිසි දඬුවම් ලැබිය යුතු බවත් තවදුරටත් පොලීසිය සහ නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක කරවන ආයතන් තුල පවතින වධහිංසා සංස්කෘතිය මෙතැනින් අවසන් කල යුතුබවත් රජය සහ අදාල දෙපාර්තමේන්තු තුලින් සිදුකලයුතු සියලුම ආකාරයේ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ මානවහිමිකම් ,මූලික මිනිස් අයිතිවාසිකම් පෙරදැරිකොටගෙන ආන්තීකරණයට ලක්වූ ප්‍රජාවන්ගේද ගෞරවය සහ අභිමානය සුරැකෙන පරිදි සිදුවිය යුතුය යන්න අප අවධාරණය කර සිටිමු.

Condemnation of Violence and Harassment Against Transgender Individuals

All living beings inherently possess the right to life, and no individual or entity holds the right or authority to intrude upon or scrutinize another’s personal life or way of existence. Every person is entitled to live their life according to their own will and choices.

Regrettably, there has been a disturbing rise in acts of physical violence, invasion of privacy, neglect, and discrimination against transgender individuals. Such actions not only infringe upon their fundamental freedoms but also subject them to both physical and psychological harm. A notable example of this is the violence inflicted upon Rizwana in Akkaraipattu.

The Aruvi Malaiyaga Q***r Organization vehemently condemns these reprehensible acts and calls for the immediate cessation of such injustices. We strongly advocate for the implementation of legal measures to prevent the perpetuation of these harmful actions, ensuring that the rights and dignity of transgender individuals are upheld and respected.

எல்லா உயிர்களும் வாழ தகுதியும் உரித்தும் உடையனவே. எந்தவொரு தனிநபருடைய தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வியலையோ வாழ்வியல் முறையையோ கேள்விக்குட்படுத்தவோ கேளிக்கைக்குட்படுத்தவோ பிறருக்கு உரிமையோ அதிகாரமோ கிடையாது . அவரவர் வாழ்க்கையை அவரவர் விருப்பின் படி வாழ பூரண சுதந்திரம் உண்டு.

இந்நிலையில் சமீபகாலமாக நடந்தேறி வரும் திருநங்கைகள் மீதான உடல் ரீதியான வன்முறைகள் , உருவக் கேளிகள், உதாசீனப்படுத்தல்கள், அதிகரித்த வண்ணமே இருப்பதுடன் இம்மாதிரியான செயல்கள் அவர்களின் சுதந்திரத்தை பறித்து அடக்குமுறைக்குள்ளாக்குவதுடன் உடல் , உள பாதிப்புகளையும் ஏற்படுத்தி வருகின்றன. ஆக இம்மாதிரியான இழிவான செயல்களுக்கு அருவி மலையக குயர் அமைப்பு கடுமையான எதிர்ப்பைத் தெரிவிப்பதுடன் இந்நிலைமை நீடிக்குமிடத்து சட்டரீதியான நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்படுமெனவும் கண்டனம் தெரிவிக்கிறது.
