Dengue Prevention | Mosquito Fogging Programme

We successfully conducted a Dengue Prevention – Mosquito Fogging Programme on 9th August 2026, covering the Ja-Ela Railway Station and Ja-Ela Police Station. This initiative aimed to reduce mosquito breeding and promote a safer, healthier environment for the community.

A special thank you to Lion Shiranga, Proprietor of Pest Master, for generously sponsoring the mosquito fogging programme, and to Lion Piradharshan for arranging refreshments for all those who participated in the project. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Lions Governor, Lions members, Railway Station and Police Station authorities, the fogging team, and everyone who supported this meaningful initiative.

Together, let’s continue working towards a cleaner, healthier, and dengue-free community!

Empowering Our Youth Through Education

"We Serve" 🦁✨

As part of the Governor's Welcome Visit Service Carnival held today at Bopitiya, the Lions Club of Delathura Ja-Ela New Century proudly stepped forward to support the next generation.

Focusing on the Lions Global Causes of Education and Youth, our club successfully donated school books and essential educational supplies to seven deserving children in the community. Ensuring that these bright young minds have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed is at the very heart of what we do.

A big thank you to District 306 D3 leadership, our dedicated club members, and everyone who supported this impactful initiative!
