7th New Generation Youth Top40 Awards 2026 – Officially Opened!

The 7th New Generation Youth Top40 Awards 2026 was officially opened by the Chairman of the Youth Top40 Awards 2026, Mr. Ovin Amaratunga.

Ovin’s journey is a remarkable reflection of the vision behind New Generation Sri Lanka nurturing young talent, creating leadership opportunities, and empowering the next generation to lead.

His journey began as a mentee of WINSPIRATION 1.0, where his passion, commitment and leadership potential were recognised. He was honoured with the “Best Mentee of the Year” award at the Youth Top40 Awards.

He then continued his journey with New Generation Sri Lanka, actively contributing to the youth movement and serving as an Executive Committee Member. His dedication and professional excellence were further recognised when he received the Youth Upcoming Corporate Leader of the Year Award at the Youth Top40 Awards.
Today, his journey has come full circle.

From a WINSPIRATION mentee to an award winner, from an Executive Committee Member to the Chairman of the Youth Top40 Awards 2026, Ovin represents what is possible when young people are given the right opportunities, guidance and platform to grow.

Professionally, Ovin serves as Assistant Manager – International Sales & Marketing at Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited, where he continues to demonstrate leadership, innovation and global business excellence.

We are proud to see a young leader who once stood on this platform as a mentee now return to lead it.

This is the power of New Generation creating leaders who inspire the next generation.

A Pooja is a sacred act of worship, performed to invoke divine blessings and express devotion, gratitude and reverence. Through graceful movements and traditional symbolism, this beautiful dance reflects the spiritual essence of offering prayers before the beginning of an auspicious occasion.
