To mark the International Day for Biological Diversity, Linea Aqua hosted an inspiring awareness session and quiz competition for Grade 8 students at Rajasinghe Central College.

The session was led by naturalist Narmadha Dangampola, whose shared expertise helped spark meaningful conversations and inspired students to think critically about biodiversity conservation and environmental responsibility.

This initiative reflects our belief that education is the seed of conservation, and todayโ€™s young minds are tomorrowโ€™s environmental leaders.

Linea Aqua, in collaboration with Noyon Lanka Pvt Ltd, is making a lasting impact at Pingamuwa Maha Vidyalaya.By expanding the existing 500L water capacity to 1500L with an efficient water pumping system, we are ensuring clean, reliable water while also reducing energy usage for a more sustainable solution. This project will benefit 150 students, along with approximately 20 staff and non-academic members, improving daily access to safe water.

In addition, the Water Supply and Drainage Board at Kadawatha conducted an awareness and practical session on water conservation, empowering participants with valuable knowledge on sustainable water use.

Together, we are shaping a sustainable futureโ€”one drop at a time!

Linea Aqua proudly joined forces with MAS BPU, DIMO, Dilmah Tea, Lalan Rubbers, and BSL to support the Department of Wildlife Conservation in making the 2024 Padayatra a more sustainable and environmentally conscious journey.

By transforming non-branded waste fabric into reusable, durable bags for pilgrims, weโ€™re not just reducing polytheneโ€”weโ€™re stitching sustainability into a sacred journey. Each bag tells a story of our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and the lasting impact we create together.

To mark the 12th anniversary of the Aqua Nature Club, we partnered with Thiththapaththara K.V. to bring nature closer to the hearts of young learners.

As part of the celebration, we organized a tree planting program within the school premises, where each tree was assigned to a member of the school's nature club. These students will be responsible for caring for their trees, monitoring growth, and building a lasting connection with nature.

To extend the green spirit beyond the school, we also distributed home gardening plants to be planted during the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year, promoting sustainable practices at home.
This event not only celebrated a milestone in the ANCโ€™s journey but also deepened our commitment to environmental education, community engagement, and a greener future for all.

A heartfelt thank you to all ANC members who contributed to making our 12th anniversary celebration a great success! Your passion and teamwork made this green initiative truly meaningful. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
