Expectation:
We expect to safeguard the society of Buddhist monks which is growing day by day. What do we do:
For all the children who come to temples with the interest of becoming a monk, we train them the disciplinary’s of the Buddhist philosophy, give them a good knowledge as to what Buddhist priesthood is, and also about the life af
ter becoming a Monk, while giving one year accommodation. Thereafter the student can decide whether they would want to go ahead being a Buddhist priest or not. We teach how to identify the issues of the community & preach dhamma sermons accordingly. We teach the senior Buddhist Priests how to solve the problems of the community with the use of Buddhist psychology counselling & western psychology counselling. We conduct courses and spiritual workshops on Languages like Pali, English,Tamil, Japanese, Chinese, Italian etc. and computer, which will strengthen the knowledge level of the Monks which leads to building up a priesthood with a good mind set. First step:
• Building up "Arya Nikethanaya"
• You can donate Sand, cement, bricks, steel etc as much as possible
• You can contribute by paying a sum of Rs. 4000 to complete building one square foot of the meditation hall & "Awasaya”. Join us to build up "Arya Nikethanaya" in any possible way you can...
Its a fortune to be able to contribute in building up Arya Nikethanaya, which is mainly to avoid Bikku's from disrobing, by developing their aim and mind set and to build up their Buddhist philosophical knowledge, their skills to preach and the language skills. You can become a Member of Arya Nikethanya by paying a membership fee of only Rs. 1000/- per year. This membership scheme is purely for the utilities and maintenance purposes of the premises, as the budgeted expenses for a month is Rs. 400,000/-
Elaborating further on the expenses:
• Meals (“Danaya”) & “Gilampasa “ for all the Bikku’s who dwell in the premises
• Utility bills (Electricity, water, telephone, internet etc.)
• Teachers fee’s
• Administration expenses (Photo Copies, Stationary, scanning etc.) Benefits for Members:
• Free Counseling service from Rev. Bhaddiya
• A religious program on one Sunday of each month
