නීති විද්‍යාලයේ බොහෝ ශිෂ්‍ය සංගම් අැත.ඒවායෙන් නීති ශිෂ්‍යයින් උදෙසා කෙරෙන කාර්යයන් බොහෝය.එහෙත් අපෙන් සමාජයට සිදුවන සේවාවන් ඉතා අල්පය.අප කෙසේ හෝ ඒ අඩුව පිරවිය යුතුය.එම අඩුව පිරවීම සමාජය වෙනුවෙන් කරන්නාවූ සද්කාර්යයක් වන අතරම අනාගත නීතීඥයන් වීමට සිටින අපටද එය ඉතා වැදගත්ය.මක්නිසාද යත් නීතීඥයෙකු දෙස සමාජය නිතරම බලන්නේ වැරදි දෘශ්ටි කෝණයකිනි.එම දෘශ්ටිකෝණය වැරදි බව අප විසින්ම සමාජයට තේරුම් කර දිය යුතුය.

සඳහා අපට ස්වර්ණමය අවස්ථාවක් එළඹී ඇත.ඒ ⁣social service league ශිෂ්‍ය සංගමයයි.මේ හරහා අප බලාපොරොත්තු වන්නේ අපෙන් සමාජයට යමක් ලබා දීමටයි.සමාජ සේවය උතුම් ක්‍රියාවක් බව අපි හැමෝම දනිමු.ඒ උතුම් අරමුණ වෙනුවෙන් යමක් කිරීමට කැමති සැමට මෙම අවස්ථාව අපි උදා කර දීමට බලා සිටිමු.
අප කරන සමාජ සේවය ඉතා කුඩා ප්‍රමාණයේ එකක් විය හැකිය.ඒ අපට කළ හැකි ප්‍රමාණයයි.ඇතැම් විට එය අසරණ පවුලකට නිවසක් තනා දීමක් විය හැක.නැතිනම් ළමා පිළිකා වාට්ටුවේ පොඩි එවුන් සමග විනෝදයෙන් දවසක් ගත කිරීමක් විය හැකිය.එසේත් නැතිනම් හදිසි ආපදාවකින් විපතට පත් අයට කරන සුළු ආධාරයක් විය හැකිය.එය කුඩා දෙයක් ලෙස පෙනී ගියත් අසරණ වූ මිනිසුන්ට එම සත්කාරය මහමෙරකි.
එබැවින් අපි අපට හැකි අයුරින් සමාජයට යමක් ලබා දිය යුතුය.අසරණයෙකුගේ එක් කඳුලු බිඳක් පිස දමන්නට ඔබේ සුරත දිගු කරන්නට ඔබ සූදානම් නම් මේ අවස්ථාව ඔබටයි.එක්වන්න සමාජ සේවා ලීගය සමග.මේ නීති විද්‍යාර්ථීන්ගේ සමාජ සත්කාර සේවයයි. There are lots of unions which offers lots of services for the students at Law College. Somehow we need to fulfill that need. It's not only just a contribution to the society but it will be very important for us as future lawyers. The society looks at the lawyer from a wrong perspective. It's our duty to make them understand that they are wrong. And we have got a gut a golden opportunity for that. That is Social Service league of Sri Lanka Law College. As we know social work is a noble thing to do. And therefore we would like to give everyone an opportunity who is willing to do that noble service. The social work we do might be small. Because that's our beginning. Sometimes it might be building a house for a poor family, spend a day with the kids at the cancer hospital or may be a small donation to the people who are affected from an unexpected disaster. Even though it may seems small for us, for them it means a lot. Therefore we should contribute something to the society however we can.This is the opportunity for you, who are willing to wipe the tears of the in need.
