⚠️ Rainy Season Reminder: Safety First, Energize Last! ⛈️🔌

With the heavy rains catching up, floods bring severe, hidden electrical hazards to homes and industries alike. Before you turn any power back on, remember the absolute golden rule:

🚨 De-energize: Shut down distribution systems immediately during flooding.

🚨 Never energize a flooded facility until it’s certified by a professional!

🚨 Replace: Components like MCCBs, LV Fuses, and Dry-Type Transformers cannot be saved—they must be replaced

🚨 Test & Verify: Insulation Resistance (IR) and contact resistance tests are mandatory before switching anything back on.

*Stay safe, stay dry, and rebuild stronger! ⛈️⚡️

IESL EETESC CSR Initiative at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children

We are pleased to share a progress update on our CSR engagement at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children.

Today, our engineering team, together with electricians from the Electricians’ Guild, conducted a preliminary technical assessment of the electrical distribution network and Public Address (PA) system, with the request from the hospital management. A significant portion of the PA system functionality was restored, while key safety concerns related to protection systems and earthing were identified.

An interim report is being finalized with essential findings to support improvements in safety and reliability.

These efforts contribute directly to creating a safer healing environment for children, supporting their well-being and the future generation of our nation.

We sincerely appreciate the dedication of the IESL EETESC 2025/26 CSR Committee and the valuable logistical support from Aloka Consultants.
