Lanka Hope Partners is grateful to collaborate with Jampettah Branch to open Minor and Teen Savings Accounts for the children at our Hope Center.

16 children, together with their parents, gathered at our Hope Center to meet the bank representatives and begin this meaningful journey toward a better future. The main focus of this initiative is to teach children the value of saving money and creating financial awareness from a young age.

At Hope Center, we are committed to investing in these children for their brighter future. This is true transformation not only spiritual growth, but also empowering children to become responsible and better citizens for our nation.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to support us through your prayers, encouragement, and generous blessings. Together, we are shaping lives and building hope for the next generation.

Laughter echoed through the Hope Center as curious little eyes watched the Pongal pot slowly come to a boil. For many of the children, this was more than a festival. It was a moment of discovery, joy, and belonging.

As the rice bubbled over, hands clapped and smiles widened. The children learned why farmers rise before dawn, why the soil matters, and why food on the table should never be taken for granted. Simple lessons were shared in simple ways, reminding them that every grain of rice is a gift.

Before the meal was shared, hearts were stilled in prayer. Together, the children thanked God for His provision and for the unseen hands that work the fields so others may eat. Gratitude was no longer just a word; it became something they could see, feel, and celebrate.

That day, Pongal was not only cooked in a pot. It was stirred into young hearts teaching thankfulness, respect for hard work, and the joy of sharing. At the Hope Center, a cultural celebration became a life lesson, and a simple harvest festival turned into a lasting memory of hope.

The New Year 2026 was joyfully celebrated on 06th January at our Hope Center with the participation of staff, children, and parents, who gathered as one family to thank God for His faithfulness and guidance. The day was filled with prayer, joy, and warm fellowship as everyone welcomed the year ahead with hope and renewed commitment.

A special highlight of the celebration was the blessing of each family with a dry ration food package, shared in remembrance of Dr. Kirk’s birthday. This thoughtful act of love provided practical support to families and reflected the heart of compassion that defines our ministry.

The smiles on the faces of the children and the gratitude expressed by parents made the celebration truly meaningful, standing as a testimony of God’s provision and the spirit of unity at our Hope Center.

Lanka Hope Partners joyfully marked its 5th-year milestone, celebrating God’s faithfulness and the collective journey of compassion, service, and impact. During this meaningful occasion, all staff members and Centre teachers were honored and awarded for their faithful commitment and sacrificial service in transforming the lives of children through free education. Their dedication continues to nurture not only academic growth, but also character, confidence, and purpose among underprivileged children.

With heartfelt gratitude, we also acknowledge Dr. & Mrs. Nowery for standing with us from the very beginning of this mission to rescue and transform children’s lives in Sri Lanka. Your faithful prayers and generous support have strengthened and enabled our organization to move forward with courage and perseverance in pursuing the vision God has entrusted to us.

As Lanka Hope Partners looks ahead, this milestone stands as a testimony to what can be accomplished when love is put into action and a shared vision is faithfully lived out each day.

Hope Center Christmas Concert was a joyful and meaningful celebration as our children beautifully marked the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ through their God-given talents. The event was graced by our Chief Guest, Rev. Ravishankar Niles, and Guest of Honor, Muthusamy Vijayan, whose presence greatly encouraged the children and all who gathered.

Our Hope Center children confidently showcased their abilities through vibrant dances, a touching nativity play, and melodious Christmas carols, clearly reflecting the dedication, discipline, and love invested in them throughout the year. Their performances reminded everyone of the true joy and hope found in Christ.

In his inspiring message, the Chief Guest spoke on the purpose of Christ’s birth to the world, emphasizing that true Christmas is not merely a celebration, but a call to action to remember and extend compassion to the needy, especially families affected by the recent floods. He highlighted that giving hope in times of crisis is the real expression of Christmas.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Hope Center staff for faithfully shaping and guiding the children with patience and love. Our sincere thanks also go to everyone who supported this concert through their time, prayers, and financial contributions. Your partnership made this event a success and brought glory to God. May the message of Christ’s love continue to shine through all that we do.

We were blessed to distribute cooked meals and water bottles to families in the Gampaha District who are currently unable to cook meals due to the severe impact of the recent cyclone and flooding. Many homes remain without basic facilities, and this timely support has brought comfort and strength to families in great need.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who partnered with us. Your generosity is helping to transform lives through the Act of Hope, bringing relief, dignity, and encouragement to those who are suffering.

Together, we are bringing light into the midst of crisis.
