උතුම් සම්බුද්ධ ත්‍රෛමංගල්‍යයේ ආනන්දනීය වන්දනය සනිටුහන් කරන අනඳ වෛශාක්‍ය මංගල්‍යයට සමගාමීව දර්ශනීය අංගයක් ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබන,

“වෙසක් පහන් කූඩු ප්‍රදර්ශනය”

මැයි මස 28වැනි දින සිට 31වැනි දින දක්වා පාසල් පරිශ්‍රය තුළ පැවැත්වේ.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. M. R. Rathnayaka, former Group Scout Master of Ananda College. His dedicated service to the Scout Movement will always be remembered with deep gratitude and respect.

May he attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

The remains will be kept at No. 77/2, Kandy Road, Dalugama, Kelaniya, from 8.00 p.m. onwards on Tuesday, 19th May 2026.

The final arrangements will take place on Thursday, 21st May 2026. Please note that the remains will be handed over to the Medical Faculty, Ragama, by 10.00 a.m. on 21st May 2026.

Ananda College Old Boys’ Association (ACOBA) in collaboration with the School & the Old Anandians 90 Group has organized the War Heroes Tribute Ceremony - Ranaviru Upahara 2026 event which will be held on Tuesday 19th May 2026 in front of Ranaviru Memorial of Ananda College Colombo, commencing at 7.30am.

This event is organized in memory of the fallen members of all the Military Forces & Police of Sri Lanka who rendered a yeoman silent service during the humanitarian operations and this will be attended by the Old Boys, the Principal / Academic Staff along with students and well-wishers.

We take pleasure in inviting you for this event as it would be a great honor to have your presence. We look forward to your acceptance of this invitation and joining us at Ananda College to pay tribute to the War Heroes of Sri Lanka.
