The Future Lanka Research and Development Foundation (FLRDF) was privileged to contribute to the Employer Networking Session 2025 – Strengthening Partnerships for Better Employment Opportunities (4th Edition) held in Nattandiya.

The Department of Manpower and Employment (DME) successfully organized the Employer Networking Forum 2025 – Nattandiya on 14th July 2026 at the District Secretariat Office, Nattandiya, bringing together over 100 representatives from 80 companies across diverse sectors to strengthen public–private partnerships for employment promotion.

The event was graced by Mahinda Jayasinghe, Deputy Minister of Labour, who delivered special remarks highlighting the importance of collaboration between the government and industry in creating decent and productive employment opportunities.

The welcome address was delivered by K. G. H. H. R. Kiriella, Director General of DME, setting the tone for a day of knowledge sharing and constructive dialogue.

A Strategic Roundtable Discussion was facilitated by Dian Baduge, Director of the Future Lanka Research and Development Foundation, encouraging meaningful engagement among participants. The forum also featured an interactive panel discussion and open dialogue, providing a platform for employers to share experiences, identify challenges, and explore practical solutions for improving job matching and skills development.

The session inspired students to explore their strengths, align their passions with future career goals, and make informed decisions that reflect the evolving demands of today’s technology-driven job market.
The program was conducted by Mr. Dian Baduge, Director of the Future Lanka Research & Development Foundation, who highlighted the importance of staying updated on global career trends, industry developments, and the essential skills needed to thrive in the future workforce.
Adding practical insights, Mr. Kith Perera, Associate Manager – New Business Development & Employer Relations at AICPA & CIMA, shared engaging case studies from his field, emphasizing the importance of understanding emerging career opportunities across diverse industries.
