To all dear Marians,

Wherever you are, whatever you do, both you and I enjoy the unique privilege of the sons of our beloved Alma Matar, St. Since all of us cherish dear memories of our formative years under her wing, I sometimes feel how wise it would be if we could get together one day, forgetting the dreary world around us and be lost in the memories of those halcyon days. Yet I know it is wel

l high impossible for such wishes to come true. So in the alternative may I propose that you together with the other old Marians close by form an alumni association. Wherever you are and be extended arm of fellowship and good will to our college. We have already such a branch – Old Boys Association, Colombo. Such a worldwide network of branch associations will definitely keep the Marian spirit aglow and help institution in many different ways pecuniary being the least. Do remember, how we once stood proud to be the “True sons of St. Let us continue to be so. I will be delighted to hear your comments and suggestions. Thank you very much. Yours in Marian spirit,
