Today, Puhalidam Organization proudly supported the District Inclusive Sports Event for Persons with Disabilities organized by the District Secretariat – Batticaloa at Webber Stadium.

As part of our commitment toward Inclusive Education and Child Well-Being, we contributed by providing participant name tags, inclusive awareness banners, and advocacy activities promoting equality, participation, and dignity for children with disabilities.

A special moment of the event was when two children — a child with disability and a non-disabled child — together shared powerful messages on inclusion, symbolizing friendship, acceptance, and equal opportunities for all children.

The event was attended by district officials, health sector representatives, Disabled People’s Organizations, NGOs, parents, school children, and community members. Approximately 1,200 participants joined the program and showed their support for building an inclusive society.

Together, let us continue creating communities where every child belongs, participates, and thrives with dignity.

Puhalidam Organization, in collaboration with the District Secretariat Batticaloa, successfully conducted the second stakeholder discussion on developing a Management Information System (MIS) for persons with disabilities.
This important session was held on 24.04.2026 at the District Secretariat Auditorium (Old Building), bringing together key stakeholders to share insights, identify needs, and strengthen coordination for an inclusive and effective system.
We appreciate the active participation and valuable contributions of all stakeholders as we move forward in creating a more accessible and data-driven approach to support persons with disabilities in the district.

🌸 – A Powerful Celebration of & 🌸

In proud celebration of , the Rotaract Club of Batticaloa, in collaboration with Methodist Church Puhalidam and the ’s , successfully concluded “UnbreakHer” on 8th March 2026 at the MC Puhalidam Centre, Arayampathy.

This impactful initiative focused on raising awareness about violence against women while promoting protection, empowerment, and support for vulnerable women in rural communities. Through meaningful discussions and engagement, the program created a safe and supportive space to uplift voices and inspire strength among women.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Mary Magdalin, & , for delivering an insightful and empowering session that left a lasting impact on all participants.

We also sincerely thank the Officer in Charge and the & for their valuable awareness session on domestic violence, helping to educate the community on protection, rights, and available support systems.

உட்படுத்தல் கல்வியை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், KNH மற்றும் BMZ நிதி உதவியுடன் புகலிட நிறுவனத்தின் அமுலாக்கத்தின் கீழ் மாவட்ட மட்ட ஒன்றிணைந்த ஆலோசனை நிகழ்வு 2026 பெப்ரவரி 06 ஆம் திகதி மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் வெற்றிகரமாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த நிகழ்வில், உட்படுத்தல் கல்வி நடைமுறையை வலுப்படுத்த கல்வி, சுகாதாரம், சமூக சேவைகள், போக்குவரத்து, பாதுகாப்பு, பெண்கள் மற்றும் சிறுவர்கள் ஆகிய துறைகளின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த பங்களிப்பு மிக அவசியமானது என்பதைக் குறித்து கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டது.
மேலும், பரிந்துரை முறையை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், புகலிட நிறுவனத்தினால் பயிற்றுவிக்கப்பட்ட சமூகமட்ட அமைப்புகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள் இந்நிகழ்வில் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இதன் மூலம் சமூக மட்டத்தில் உள்ள குழந்தைகளின் தேவைகள் தொடர்பான விடயங்கள் அதிகாரிகளின் கவனத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டன.
நிகழ்வில் மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தின் அரச உயர் அதிகாரிகள் பலர் கலந்துகொண்டு, உட்படுத்தல் கல்வி தொடர்பான தங்களது ஆதரவும் வழிகாட்டல்களையும் வழங்கினர்.
விசேட தேவையுடைய மாணவர்கள் பொது போக்குவரத்தை பயன்படுத்தும்போது எதிர்கொள்ளும் சவால்கள் தொடர்பாக, போக்குவரத்து சபைக்கு முன்மொழிவுகள் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டதுடன், அவர்களுக்கான அணுகல்தன்மையை மேம்படுத்த வேண்டிய அவசியமும் வலியுறுத்தப்பட்டது.
இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, விசேட தேவையுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்காக விசேட சக்கர நாற்காலிகள் வழங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டன, இது பெற்றோர் மற்றும் சமூகத்தின் பாராட்டைப் பெற்றது.
