YMCA Batticaloa joyfully celebrated the founder´s day with a special thanksgiving gathering at the YMCA Batticaloa premises.

As part of the celebration, the YMCA Youth Club successfully organised a fundraising programme in support of its ongoing youth and community initiatives. We sincerely thank everyone who participated, contributed, and supported the event, making it a memorable and meaningful occasion.

A glimpse of the special Revival Meeting held on 22nd July at YMCA Batticaloa. ✨

It was a blessed evening of worship, prayer, and the sharing of God's Word, bringing hearts together in faith and renewal.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bro. Jacob Punitharaj, Pastor Jeyanth, Pastor Rushanthan, and Pastor Kumar for their dedication and commitment in organising this special Revival Meeting.

May God richly bless each of you for your faithful service, leadership, and the time and effort you invested in making this gathering a blessing to everyone who attended.

On behalf of YMCA Batticaloa, we extend our sincere gratitude to the National Council of YMCAs of Sri Lanka (NCY Sri Lanka) for entrusting us with the opportunity to host the Taiwan–Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Programme in partnership with Taichung YMCA, Taiwan.

It was a truly memorable experience filled with meaningful cultural exchange, friendship, learning, and mutual respect. The program allowed our young people to share our traditions, values, and hospitality while gaining a deeper appreciation of Taiwanese culture through engaging activities and interactions.

We are especially grateful to the delegates from Taichung YMCA for their warmth, enthusiasm, and the wonderful memories we created together. We also thank everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this exchange a success.

🌱 Seed Balls Festival 2026 – A Great Success! 🌱

A heartfelt thank you to all the children, parents, volunteers, Youth Club members, Children’s Club members, YMCA staff, and everyone who joined hands to make our Seed Balls Festival a memorable and meaningful success.

Together, we prepared seed balls, learned about environmental conservation, and inspired our young generation to become protectors of nature. 🌍💚

A special appreciation goes to Mr. Riyas Ahamed, Senior Lecturer, South Eastern University, for his valuable guidance and encouragement throughout the program.
