We were honoured to welcome Her Excellency Isabelle Martin, High Commissioner of Canada to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, to our ANICHCHAM office recently. The discussion focused on strengthening the economic cooperation of the LGBTIQA+ community and exploring future opportunities for ANICHCHAM.

டித்வா புயலின்🌪️ தாக்கத்தால் மலையகப் பிரதேசங்களில் பல சமூகங்கள் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், அனிச்சம்🤍 அமைப்பு 40 கர்ப்பிணி பெண்களுக்கு அவசியமான கர்ப்ப மற்றும் குழந்தை பராமரிப்பு பொருட்களை🧺 வழங்கியது.

சமூக நலன் மன்றத்துடன் Social Welfare Mandram🤝 இணைந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட இந்த முயற்சி, இந்த பெண்கள் பாதுகாப்பாகவும், சுகாதாரமாகவும், மதிப்புடன் பராமரிக்கப்படுவதற்கு உதவியது. சமூக நலன் மன்றத்தின் வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் மற்றும் முயற்சிகளை நாங்கள் மனமார்ந்தாக பாராட்டுகிறோம்.

In the aftermath of Cyclonic Storm Ditwah 🌪️, many communities in the Malayaga areas have been severely affected, leaving pregnant women particularly vulnerable. During this difficult time, we are proud to share that ANICHCHAM 🤍 has extended support to 40 pregnant women facing economic hardships, displacement, and limited access to essential maternity and newborn items due to the storm.

With the support and collaboration of Social Welfare Mandram🤝, we distributed pregnancy kits and essential goods 🧺, ensuring these mothers receive the care, safety, and dignity 🌸 they deserve during this difficult time.

We sincerely appreciate Social Welfare Mandram’s dedication and on-the-ground efforts in identifying beneficiaries and coordinating the distribution of pregnancy kits and essential goods, ensuring this support reached the mothers and communities most in need 📍. Through this collective effort, we were able to promote safe, healthy, and dignified pregnancies 🤰🏽💖 for these vulnerable mothers, even amid the challenges caused by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah.
