World Cleanup Day 2025 – Wellawatta Beach, Sri Lanka

World Cleanup Day 2025 was successfully held on 20th September 2025 at Wellawatta Beach, organized by the National Environmental Pioneer Forum Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) and Shraddha TV. The event brought together volunteers, environmental pioneers, and community members to remove waste, raise awareness about marine pollution, and promote sustainable environmental practices. This initiative highlighted the importance of collective action to protect Sri Lanka’s coastal ecosystems and demonstrated the power of teamwork in creating a cleaner, healthier planet.
