STEPS (පියවර ) ඔවුන්ගේ අනාගත අභිවෘද්ධිය වෙනුවෙන් සිය ජීවිත වෙනස් කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස විවිධ කටුක අවශ්යතා සහිත පළාතකම හරහා සිසුන් දෙසට වැඩ කරන විවිධ ජාතීන් වෙසෙන ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන් 40 කට අධික ස්වේච්ඡා දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විත ස්වාධීන, රාජ්ය නොවන සංවිධානය, . ඉතිරි ඔවුන් දැනට ජීවත් තම රටවල සිට විවිධ ආකාරයේ මෙම ප්රයත්නයන් සහාය අතර එහි සාමාජිකයන් බොහොමයක් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ සිට ජීවත් වන සහ ක්රියාත්මක කර ඇත. STEPS is
an independent, non-governmental voluntary organization comprising of 40 voluntary members of Sri Lankans living in different nations who are working towards reaching out to poverty stricken children with various dire needs to take action to change their lives for the betterment of their future. Most of its members are living and operating from Sri Lanka while the rest are supporting these efforts in various forms from their respective countries they currently live.
