2025-09.23 වන දින ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ දරුවන් උදෙසා අක්‍ෂි සායනයක් පවත්වන ලදී.අම්පාර මහා රෝහලේ අක්ෂි සායන ඒකකයේදී මෙය පවත්වනු ලැබුවේ, අම්පාර මහා රෝහලේ අක්ෂි විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය තුමාගේ මූලිකත්වයෙනි.
දරුවන්ගේ පෙනීමේ දුබලතා සහ ඇස්වල පවතින දෝෂ හඳුනා ගැනීම මෙහිදී සිදුකරන ලදී. දරුවන් සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මූලික ප්‍රතිකාර එහිදී සිදුකළ අතර, ඉදිරියේදී කළ යුතු ප්‍රතිකාර සහ ඒවාට යොමුවිය යුතු ආකාරය පිළිබඳව දරුවන්ගේ දෙමව්පියන්ව දැනුවත් කිරීම ද සිදුකරන ලදී

An eye clinic was held for the children of the Dutch Lanka Special School on 23-09-2025. This was conducted at the Eye Clinic Unit of the Ampara General Hospital under the leadership of the Ophthalmologist of the Ampara General Hospital.
The children's vision impairments and eye defects were identified here. The children were given the necessary basic treatment, and the parents of the children were also informed about the treatments to be done in the future and how to approach them.

Focusing on key areas such as child protection, identification of abuse, self-care.

ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ *වාර්ෂික චාරිකාව* 2025/08/ 22 වන සිකුරාදා දින පාසලේ දරුවන්, දෙමාපියන්, පාසලේ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි.
එහිදී දරුවන් අම්පාරේ සිට මහියංගන විහාරය දක්වා ගමන් කොට සොරබර වැව සහ දඹාන නැරඹීමට සම්බන්ධ විය.

මහියංගන විහාරයේදී පැමිණ සිටි බැතිමතුන් සමග මල් පහන් පූජා කර බෝධි පූජාවක් පවත්වන ලදී.
ඉන්පසු සොරබොර වැව නැරඹීමෙන් අනතුරුව, ස්නානය කර දිවා ආහාරය එහිදී ලබා ගත් අතර, ඉන් පසුව දඹාන ආදිවාසී ගම්මානය නැරඹීමෙන් චාරිකාව නිමාවිය.
බාහිර සමාජයේ පුද්ගලයන් සමඟ දරුවන් විවෘතව ඇසුරු කිරීම හරහා අන්තර්කරණය සිදුවූ අතර ඒ ඔස්සේ දරුවන්ට අධ්‍යාපනය සඳහා ද මහත් පිටුවහලක් ලැබුණි

The *Annual Trip* of Dutch Lanka Special School was held on Friday, 22/08/2025 with the participation of the children, parents and school staff of the school. The children traveled from Ampara to Mahiyangana Viharaya and visited the Sorabara Lake and Dambana.

A Bodhi Pooja was held with the devotees present at the Mahiyangana Viharaya after offering flowers and lamps. Then, after visiting the Sorabora Lake, they took a bath and had lunch there, and then the tour ended with a visit to the Dambana tribal village.

Integration took place through the children's open association with people from outside society, which also greatly assisted the children in their education.

2025 අගෝස්තු 4 වන දින අපගේ ගමනේ වැදගත් සන්ධිස්ථානයක් සනිටුහන් කරයි. අපි ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා ඇති දරුවන් බලගැන්වීමේ 13 වන සංවත්සරය සමරමු. දශකයකට වැඩි කාලයක් තිස්සේ, අපි පාසලකට වඩා වැඩි යමක් වන අතර, සෑම දරුවෙකුම ඇතුළත් කර, බලගන්වා, දියුණු වීමට පෙළඹෙන පරිසරයක් නිර්මාණය කරමු

August 4, 2025 marks a significant milestone in our journey. We celebrate 13 years of empowering children with special needs at Dutch Lanka Special School. For over a decade, we have been more than just a school, creating an environment where every child is included, empowered, and motivated to thrive.

ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ දරුවන් සමාජ අන්තර්කරණයේ එක් පියවරක් වශයෙන් වාර්ෂිකව පැවැත්වෙන ඇසළ පෙරහැර මංගල්‍ය මෙවරද අති සාර්ථක අයුරින් පැවැත්විණි.
ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ සිට කස කරුවන්ගේ ශබ්දයෙන් ආරම්භ කළ මෙම විශේෂ පෙරහැර සඳහා ඩච් ලංකා විශේෂ පාසලේ දරුවන්, අම්පාර නෙතුම් පෙර පාසලේ දරුවන්, අම්පාර සීවලී දහම් පාසලේ දරුවන්,අම්පාරකාවන්තිස්ස විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් සහ නර්තන කණ්ඩායම් ද සහභාගී විය.
ඩච් ලංකා මිත්‍රත්ව පදනම මගින් විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා සහිත දරුවන්ගේ පාසලේ සහ වෘත්තිය පුහුණු ආදී සියලු කටයුතු සිදු කරන අතර, ඔවුන් සමාජ අන්තර්කරණය සදහා විවිධ ව්‍යාපෘති ගණනාවක් සිදුකරනු ලබයි. ඉන් සුවිශේෂි වැඩසටහනක් ලෙස මෙම ඇසළ පෙරහැර හඳුනාගත හැකියි. එහිදී විශේෂ පාසලේ දරුවන් හට සිවිල් සමාජය තුළ සිටින සමාන්‍ය ළමුන් සමඟ කිසිම විශේෂිකරණයකින් තොරව තම හැකියා, දක්ෂතා ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට හැකියාව ලැබේ.හේවිසි කණ්ඩායම,
මල් බයිසිකල්, බෞද්ධ කොඩි සහ මල් වට්ටි රැගෙන යන්නන්, කළ ගෙඩි නැටුම, බෙර වාදන ශිල්පීන්, ශාස්ත්‍රීය නැටුම, සේසත් රැගෙන යන්නන්,මොනර නැටුම හා කාවඩි නැටුම යන නර්තනාංග රාශියකින් මෙම පෙරහැර වර්ණවත් වු අතර, ඒ සඳහා අම්පාර ප්‍රාදේශවාසීන්ගෙන් හා අම්පාර පොලිසියෙන් නොමද සහයක් ලැබිණි

Dutch Lanka Special School Children's Annual Esala Perahera - 2025
The annual Esala Perahera, which is held as a step towards social interaction for the children of Dutch Lanka Special School, was held with great success this year as well.This special procession, which began with the sound of whips from the Dutch Lanka Special School, was attended by children from the Dutch Lanka Special School, children from the Ampara Nethum Pre-School, children from the Ampara Seevali Dhamma School, children from the Ampara Kawantissa College and dance groups.
The Dutch Lanka Friendship Foundation takes care of all the activities such as school and vocational training for children with special needs, and they carry out a number of different projects for social interaction.This Esala Perahera can be identified as a unique program. It provides children from special schools with the opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities without any specialization alongside ordinary children in civil society.The procession was colorful with a variety of dance performances including the Hewisi group, flower bicycles, Buddhist flag and flower pot bearers, the Kala Gedi dance, drum players, classical dance, Sesath bearers, the Peacock dance and the Kavadi dance.For this, there was a lot of support from the residents of Ampara and the Ampara Police.

In Loving Memory of Mr. Dayaratne, Patron of Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Dayaratne a truly remarkable man with a warm heart, especially for the vulnerable communities in Ampara and surrounding areas.
That’s how we first came to know him through board meetings, and later in more personal moments.

A personal memory of the founder of Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation:
He often spoke fondly of his time in Europe, particularly his studies in England and his travels across the continent. I remember him telling me stories of his visit to the Netherlands even showing me a wooden pencil box marked with the Dutch word “Tekendoos.” I have a similar one at home . a small but special connection that still makes me smile.

Mr. Dayaratne gave the Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation the opportunity to collaborate with the Sarana Home and General Hospital of Ampara. Under his generous patronage, we were able to support the elderly and disabled in the region work that we are committed to continuing, always with his memory in our hearts.

On behalf of the board and the team at the Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation, I extend our deepest condolences to the Dayaratne family. We wish you strength in this time of sorrow and hope you find comfort in the many beautiful memories you shared with him.

May he rest in peace. 🕊️

දයාරත්න මහතා, Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation සඳහා අම්පාර සරණ නිවාසය සහ මහ රෝහල සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීමට අවස්ථාව ලබා දුන්නේය. ඔහුගේ ත්‍යාගශීලී අනුග්‍රහය යටතේ, කලාපයේ වැඩිහිටියන්ට සහ ආබාධිතයින්ට සහාය වීමට අපට හැකි වූ අතර, සැමවිටම ඔහුගේ මතකය අපගේ හදවත් තුළ තබාගෙන, අපි එය දිගටම කරගෙන යාමට කැපවී සිටිමු.
