*نائب رئيس جامعة SNHU الأميركية والرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية LASeR في زيارة إلى مركز جمعية تنمية وتحسين في خريبة الجندي للاطّلاع على مشروع المنح الجامعية*
استقبلت *جمعية تنمية وتحسين – خريبة الجندي* الأستاذة *Rachael Sears، نائب رئيس جامعة Southern New Hampshire (SNHU) الأميركية والمديرة التنفيذية لبرنامج التعليم العالمي (GEM)، برفقة الدكتور مصطفى الجزار، الرئيس التنفيذي للجمعية اللبنانية للبحث العلمي (LASeR)، والأستاذة نجوى شعراني، مديرة مشروع Spotlight في LASeR.
وكان في استقبال الوفد الأستاذ محمد يحيى الجندي، المدير التنفيذي لجمعية تنمية وتحسين وفريق عمل الجمعية، إلى جانب الأستاذة لوزان إبراهيم، منسقة مشروع Spotlight في عكار، وبحضور عدد من الطلاب المستفيدين من المنحة.
تمّت الزيارة إلى قاعة جمعية تنمية وتحسين، حيث تُدار العملية التعليمية لمشروع المنح الجامعية بالشراكة بين SNHU وLASeR والجمعية، والذي يستفيد منه أكثر من 70 طالب وطالبة من سكان محافظة عكار.
ويقدّم المشروع منحاً جامعية كاملة (100%) في اختصاصات حديثة تشمل: إدارة الرعاية الصحية، إدارة الأعمال، والتواصل لروّاد الأعمال، إضافة إلى التدريب العملي، والإرشاد الأكاديمي والمهني، وذلك ضمن نظام تعليم عن بُعد أو مدمج.
وتؤكد هذه الزيارة أهمية الشراكة والتزام الأطراف بتمكين الشباب أكاديمياً ومهنياً وتعزيز فرصهم نحو مستقبل أفضل.
Vice President of SNHU and CEO of LASeR Visit Tanmiya Wa Tahseen Association in Khreibet El Jundi to Review the Scholarship Program
Tanmiya Wa Tahseen Association – Khreibet El Jundi welcomed Ms. Rachael Sears, Vice President of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and Executive Director of the Global Education Movement (GEM), accompanied by Dr. Mustapha Jazzar, CEO of the Lebanese Association for Scientific Research (LASeR), and Ms. Najwa Shaarani, Spotlight Program Manager at LASeR.
The delegation was received by Mr. Mohamad Yehya El Jundi, Executive Director of Tanmiya Wa Tahseen Association, along with the association’s team, Ms. Lausanne Ibrahim, Spotlight Program Coordinator in Akkar, and a number of students benefiting from the scholarship program.
The visit took place at the association’s main hall in Khreibet El Jundi, which serves as the educational hub for the scholarship program implemented in partnership with SNHU, LASeR, and the association. The program currently supports more than 70 students from Akkar Governorate.
The initiative provides fully funded (100%) university scholarships in modern and in-demand fields, including Healthcare Management, Business Management, and Communication for Entrepreneurs. In addition, it offers practical training, academic and career mentorship, and is delivered through a flexible blended and online learning model.
This visit highlights the importance of international partnerships and reaffirms the commitment of all stakeholders to empowering youth academically and professionally, while expanding opportunities for a brighter future.
