Nadim Younes was a visionary Architect and town planner.

In commemoration of Nadim Younes’s remarkable path a group of his school of architecture class mates are coming together to uphold the values he stood for in his life and reflected in his professional career. The Nadim Younes Initiattive (NYI)

In commemoration of Nadim Younes’s remarkable path a group of his school of architecture class mates are coming together to uphold the values he stood for

in his life and reflected in his professional career. The NYI aims at encouraging aspiring architects at schools of architecture in Lebanon, while envisaging to expand the spectrum of its activities at a national scale by supporting events that are Nadim Younes likeminded. He was a strong social activist and an avid environmentalist with numerous awards to his name. Nadim was afflicted with crippling health challenges above which he chose to adamantly rise on a daily basis until he departed in December 2020. Bound by a sense of duty the NYI has been established to pursue Nadim’s vivid vision of the built environment embraced with a sustainable flare.
