Deaf to Deaf Support – Lebanon
In difficult times, the responsibility to help often falls on all of us.
This page is your channel for connection.
If you are Deaf, you can post requests to ask for help or to offer help. Hearing friends who wish to support are also welcome to step in, while respecting Deaf communication and accessibility.
If you are a Deaf person who is displaced due to the war, you may need some kind of support but might not know where to find it, or may not be able to access available support.
You may also be a Deaf person who is able and willing to help others, which you can offer through comments or private messages, using Sign Language and/or simple text when possible.
As a member of the Deaf community, you may express your readiness to volunteer for existing support initiatives.
Deaf and hearing members, you may provide support by sharing information about a source or contact where help may be available. You can also offer direct help, such as sharing or providing an item you have available or are willing to obtain, helping deliver from source to person in need when possible, etc.
You can also help another Deaf person who is displaced or affected by the war to make a post.
Every form of help, big or small, can make a difference.
