It takes a lot of hands, hearts and voices healing BEIRUT from an explosion that shook it to it’s core, ripping apart 8 traditional neighborhoods, shattering all the city’s glass and turning 300 000 people homeless in an instant & leaving the survivors fending for themselves.
The incredible civilian response ignited by this unusual hostility was like a lighthouse in the darkest hours of a country brought down to its knees after 50 years of the Wars of others on its land.
The momentum required to be documented. It chose me to tell you the Story and film as a medium to take you there, at the heart of the aftermath of the 3rd largest explosion in the world, where among the Rubbles, I found precious gems of Light & Awareness, Solidarity, generosity and the Joy of giving… But also Amazing Lebanese voices and musicians that makes the Soundtrack of IT TAKES A LOT OF HANDS HEALING BEIRUT a stand alone🥁🎶♥️ A CD/ Digital playlist is in the making!
