🚕 A Safer Journey for Children with Cancer
On July 14 and 22, 2026, Rising Sun for Development covered taxi transportation for children with cancer traveling from North Lebanon to a hospital in Beirut and back home after treatment.
For many families, this journey is a real challenge. Due to financial difficulties, some children rely on public transportation, changing vehicles several times and sometimes making two connections to reach the hospital.
These long journeys can leave children exhausted before and after treatment and increase their exposure to infections when their immune systems may already be weakened.

في 14 و22 تموز 2026، تكفّلت جمعية الشمس الساطعة للتنمية بتكاليف سيارات الأجرة لأطفال مصابين بالسرطان، للانتقال من شمال لبنان إلى مستشفى في بيروت والعودة إلى منازلهم بعد العلاج.
بالنسبة للعديد من العائلات، تشكّل هذه الرحلة معاناة حقيقية. فبسبب الظروف المادية، يضطر بعض الأطفال إلى استخدام وسائل النقل العام وتبديلها عدة مرات، وأحيانًا القيام بتبديلين للوصول إلى المستشفى.
هذه الرحلات الطويلة قد تُرهق الطفل قبل العلاج وبعده، كما تزيد من تعرّضه للعدوى في وقت قد تكون فيه مناعته ضعيفة.

في 14 تموز 2026، قدّمت جمعية الشمس الساطعة للتنمية كرسياً متحركاً للطفل مالك، أحد الأطفال الشجعان الذين يكافحون مرض السرطان.

وبسبب تقدّم حالته الصحية، لم يعد مالك قادراً على المشي. نأمل أن يساعده هذا الكرسي المتحرك على التنقل براحة أكبر، وأن يمنحه قدراً من الاستقلالية، ويخفف عنه وعن عائلته بعضاً من أعباء الحياة اليومية.

في الشمس الساطعة للتنمية، نؤمن بأن كل مبادرة إنسانية، مهما كانت بسيطة، قادرة على إعادة الأمل ورسم الابتسامة على وجوه الأطفال الذين يخوضون أصعب المعارك. ❤️

في 10 حزيران 2026، كان مالك، أحد الأطفال في قسم أورام الأطفال، يتمنى الحصول على هاتف يرافقه خلال فترة علاجه الطويلة في المستشفى. بعد أن فقد هاتفه، توقف مالك عن تناول الطعام، وكانت حالته النفسية صعبة. وعندما حصل على هاتف جديد، عاد إليه الأمل وابتسامته الجميلة، ووافق أخيراً على تناول الطعام من جديد. شكراً لك يا مالك لأنك منحتنا فرصة أن نعيش معك هذه اللحظة المؤثرة والمليئة بالفرح. لقد ذكّرتنا أن لفتة صغيرة قد تُحدث فرقاً كبيراً في حياة طفل يواجه مرض السرطان، وأن الأمل يبدأ أحياناً بأبسط الأشياء. ❤️ أنتم أيضاً تستطيعون أن تكونوا سبباً في إعادة الابتسامة والأمل إلى طفل آخر. تبرعاتكم تساعدنا على تلبية احتياجات الأطفال المرضى بالسرطان وإدخال الفرح إلى قلوبهم.

❤️🎲 في 13 حزيران 2026، أمضينا يوماً جميلاً مع الأطفال النازحين في حسينية سقي فرحت، حيث شاركناهم الألعاب التعليمية والضحكات ولحظات الفرح والتعلم.

لقد ذكّرتنا كل ابتسامة بقوة هؤلاء الأطفال الرائعين وذكائهم وصمودهم. ومن خلال اللعب والتفاعل، صنعنا معاً ذكريات جميلة وشاهدنا كيف يمكن للفرح أن يمنح الأمل والراحة لقلوب الأطفال.

سوف نفتقد هؤلاء الأطفال كثيراً. ورغم أن الوداع ليس سهلاً، إلا أننا سعداء أيضاً لأنهم تمكنوا من العودة إلى قراهم وبيوتهم. نتمنى لهم مستقبلاً مليئاً بالسعادة والأمان والتعليم والأمل والنجاح.

Every smile reminded us of the strength, resilience, and brilliance of these amazing children. Through play and interaction, we created cherished memories together and witnessed the power of joy in bringing hope and comfort to young hearts.

These children will truly be missed. While saying goodbye is never easy, we are also happy for them as they return to their villages and homes. We wish them a future filled with happiness, safety, education, hope, and endless opportunities to thrive.
