Great to be in Beirut engaging in a series of constructive meetings with national institutions.

Together with Bill Maadarani, and Cyclops Defense President of Crisis response and post-conflict stabilization, Sara Skahill.

We had the opportunity to meet with General Rodolphe Haykal, Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, Major General Edgar Lawandos, Director General of State Security, and Major General Hassan Choucair, Director General of General Security.

Discussions focused on cooperation, resilience, and supporting long-term stability. Always encouraging to see strong commitment to these shared goals.

Engagement in Washington, D.C. focused on strengthening dialogue between the Lebanese diaspora and U.S. policymakers.

Meetings with Congressman Jack Bergman and Congressman Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and participation in a Lebanese Embassy event attended by Nada Hamadeh, Ambassador of Lebanon to the United States, welcoming Lebanese Army Commander Rodolphe Haykal.

These engagements reflect ongoing efforts to promote dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding between Lebanon, the Lebanese diaspora, and the United States.

Republicans Overseas Lebanon was honored to be present at a Mardi Gras gathering in Washington, D.C., bringing together leaders, partners, and members of the Lebanese-American and U.S. policy community.

With Bill Maadarani, CEO of Republicans Overseas Lebanon, representing the organization, the evening was a great opportunity for connection, dialogue, and strengthening relationships that matter to our community and our shared values.
