In October, the medication needs of displaced people at Jdita School were covered at a cost of $345 for one month, before the school came under the care of an international health organization.
Starting in November, the focus of the support network shifted to providing medicine for displaced families, with chronic diseases, outside shelter centers. This was done based on the medical prescriptions provided by the individuals and after verifying the necessary information.
During the first phase, the network met the medical needs of 14 individuals, amounting to $467.
The network is committed to covering the needs of these people as long as the need exists.
In the second phase, starting in December, the network seeks to meet the additional requests it has received, as the estimated need has now risen to 40 people, including the 13 mentioned above. The estimate of the monthly cost of covering their needs is around $2,000. The network seeks to secure $4,000 to ensure that these patients’ needs are covered during the next two months at least.
