Two major pieces from the collection are currently on loan to “A Life in a Few Lines,” a major exhibition featuring around 300 works by Huguette Caland at Deichtorhallen Hamburg, following its previous presentation at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.
The exhibition focuses on her resistance to social and sexual norms and her approach to life between different cultures and places.

On view until April 26, 2026

Three paintings by Seta Manoukian from the Saradar Collection now on loan at the 18th Istanbul Biennial, “The Three-Legged Cat” curated by Christine Tohme.
The works are featured alongside three others in a room dedicated to the artist at the Galata Greek School venue.
On view until November 23.

Meet our talented new residents. Afram Chamoun is a transdisciplinary artist. Details about their origin, residence, and date of birth vary across their official biographies, riddled with conflicting information. Entrenched in drawing, their work documents the horror concealed in fractured histories held within images and objects that are found, made or imagined. They weave together the temporal interplay between the image and the drawing as a form of recollection—one surreptitiously split between conjuring and manifesting. They are a 2023 Ashkal Alwan Home Workspace Program Fellow, having exhibited at Takeover Beirut, Beirut Art Center, and Beirut Museum of Art.
