🏛️ GHINEH & GHAZIR – MYTHS, MOSAICS & HERITAGE WITH LAT

Join LAT for a relaxed cultural journey through Ghineh and Ghazir, combining archaeology, mythology, Lebanese heritage, religious landmarks and beautiful Keserwan views.

🏺 GHINEH

We begin our day by discovering the archaeological treasures of Ghineh:

• Roman temple and Byzantine church remains
• Beautiful 5th-century mosaics
• The famous Rock of Adonis and its ancient carved hunting scene
• A short and easy walk around the archaeological site and viewpoints

🏘️ GHAZIR HERITAGE WALK

We then continue to Ghazir to explore its historic center and traditional atmosphere:

• Ghazir Old Souk and traditional houses
• Main square
• Our Lady of the Towers – Saydet Al-Abraj
• House of Blessed Abouna Yaacoub
• Maronite Patriarchal Seminary area
• Fouad Chehab Square and stories of the Chehab family
• Panoramic views over the Keserwan coast

🍽️ TRADITIONAL LEBANESE LUNCH

Enjoy a relaxed Lebanese lunch (à la carte) in Ghazir.

☕ OLD GHAZIR & LOCAL FLAVORS

After lunch, we continue through the old alleys and heritage houses while discovering Ghazir’s history, old souk and former silk industry.

We’ll end the day with free time for coffee, sweets or local mouneh.
