Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026 for a fantastic hiking adventure to the breathtaking Baatara Gorge Waterfall and the beautiful villages of Chatine.
📍 About Baatara Gorge Waterfall
The Baatara Gorge Waterfall (Balou’ Balaa), also known as the Cave of the Three Bridges, is one of Lebanon’s most spectacular natural wonders. Dating back millions of years to the age of dinosaurs, this unique geological site is considered one of the country’s most remarkable attractions.
🌳 About the Area
The village of Chatine (1,350 m) and Tannourine (950 m) are located in the Batroun District, approximately 82 km from Beirut.
🥾 Hike Description
Our hike starts from Saydet El Qarn (Aaqoura–Laqlouq) at an altitude of 1,850 m, passing by Mar Maroun Church, the Chatine Artificial Lakes, and ending at the stunning Baatara Waterfall and its famous three natural bridges.
Along the trail, we will enjoy:
* Beautiful mountain landscapes
* Artificial lakes and ponds
* Waterfalls and rivers
* Traditional old houses
* Agricultural lands and terraces
* Panoramic mountain views

* Altitude: 1,850 m → 950 m
* Distance: 12 km
* Level: Moderate
🕢 Departure
* 7:30 AM – Burger King, Furn El Chebbak
* 7:45 AM – Under Naccache Bridge, in front of Demerjian Center (before Spinneys on the highway)
Pick-up is possible for hikers living along our route.
🥐 Breakfast stop on the way.

💰 Fees
$25 or equivalent in LBP
The fee includes:
* Transportation by comfortable Pullman bus
* Local guide
* LAT guides

-The fee does not include medical insurance.
-Optional entrance fee to Baatara Gorge: 200,000 LBP.
