What does safety look like for a child in times like these?
Sometimes, it’s as simple as a game, a shared laugh, or a handful of LEGO pieces.
Because feeling safe starts with feeling seen.
A child carefully places one last brick on top.
He smiles — not because the tower is perfect, but because he built something he could control.
In spaces like these, healing begins quietly.

كيف يبدو الأمان في عيون طفل في أوقات كهذه؟
أحيانًا يكون ببساطة لعبة، أو ضحكة مشتركة، أو حفنة من قطع الليغو.
لأن الشعور بالأمان يبدأ عندما يشعر الطفل بأنه مرئي ومسموع.
يضع طفل قطعة أخيرة بعناية فوق البناء،
ويبتسم — ليس لأن البرج مثالي،
بل لأنه صنع شيئًا يمكنه التحكم به.

Together with UNICEF, ALPHA Association is creating safe spaces across 13 schools in Saida, where LEGO and recreational games support healing, expression, and hope.

Through play, children rebuild their sense of safety, creativity, and connection. These moments go beyond activities — they help children process emotions, reduce stress, and rediscover joy.

Because even in crisis, play helps rebuild what conflict tries to break.

بالشراكة مع اليونيسف، تعمل جمعية ألفا على خلق مساحات آمنة في 13 مدرسة في صيدا، حيث تساهم ألعاب الليغو والأنشطة الترفيهية في دعم الشفاء والتعبير وبعث الأمل.

من خلال اللعب، يستعيد الأطفال شعورهم بالأمان والإبداع والتواصل. هذه اللحظات تتجاوز كونها أنشطة، فهي تساعد الأطفال على التعبير عن مشاعرهم، تخفيف التوتر، واستعادة الفرح.

لأن اللعب، حتى في الأزمات، يعيد بناء ما تحاول الظروف كسره.

In collaboration with UNICEF, ALPHA Association is implementing psychosocial and recreational activities across 13 schools in Saida.
Through group play and teamwork, children support one another, build trust, and overcome challenges together, creating a strong sense of belonging and connection.
More than activities, these are spaces of collective healing, where laughter and cooperation help restore a sense of normal life.
Because even in the hardest times, strength grows when we stand together.

بالتعاون مع UNICEF، تنفّذ جمعية ألفا أنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي والترفيه في 13 مدرسة في صيدا.
من خلال اللعب الجماعي والعمل كفريق، يتعلم الأطفال دعم بعضهم البعض، وبناء الثقة، وتجاوز التحديات معًا مما يعزز شعورهم بالانتماء والترابط.
هذه ليست مجرد أنشطة، بل مساحات للشفاء الجماعي، حيث تساعد الضحكات وروح التعاون على استعادة الإحساس بالحياة الطبيعية.

In collaboration with UNICEF, ALPHA Association is implementing psychosocial and recreational activities across 13 schools in Saida, including Dar Al Aytam Al Arab.
Through play, creativity, and connection, these activities provide displaced children with safe spaces to express themselves, reconnect with others, and rediscover a sense of normalcy.
They are more than just activities, they are moments of healing, where children can simply be children again.
Because even in the hardest times, every child deserves joy, dignity, and hope

بالتعاون مع UNICEF، تنفّذ جمعية ألفا أنشطة دعم نفسي واجتماعي وأنشطة ترفيهية في 13 مدرسة في صيدا، من بينها دار الأيتام العربي.
من خلال اللعب، والإبداع، والتواصل، توفّر هذه الأنشطة مساحات آمنة للأطفال المهجّرين ليعبّروا عن أنفسهم، ويعيدوا بناء علاقاتهم، ويسترجعوا شعورهم بالحياة الطبيعية.

Amid challenging times, ALPHA, in collaboration with UNICEF, is implementing psychosocial support activities with a strong focus on sports. In times of uncertainty, sports become more than play — they offer children a sense of normalcy, relief, and connection.
For displaced children, these moments create safe spaces to release stress, rebuild confidence, and simply be children again.
ALPHA – standing with children, every step of the way

في ظل الأوقات الصعبة، تنفّذ ألفا، بالتعاون مع اليونيسف، أنشطة للدعم النفسي والاجتماعي مع تركيز خاص على الرياضة. ففي أوقات عدم اليقين، تصبح الرياضة أكثر من مجرد لعب — فهي تمنح الأطفال شعورًا بالاستقرار، والراحة، والتواصل.

بالنسبة للأطفال النازحين، تخلق هذه اللحظات مساحات آمنة للتفريغ، واستعادة الثقة بالنفس، والعودة ببساطة إلى عيش طفولتهم.

بالتعاون مع UNICEF، تنفّذ جمعية ألفا برنامجًا للدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، إلى جانب الأنشطة الرياضية والألعاب التربوية، في 11 مدرسة في صيدا وضواحيها، لتوفير مساحة آمنة تساعد الأطفال على التعلّم والتعبير واستعادة شعورهم بالأمان.
إيماننا بسيط لكنه قوي: حتى في أصعب الأوقات، يبقى الاستثمار في الأطفال هو الطريق نحو مستقبل أفضل.

With deep sadness and sorrow, we bid farewell to our dear colleague Zeinab Jaafar, who was a beautiful part of the ALPHA family. Her smile and kind spirit will remain in our hearts and memories. May God have mercy on her and grant her eternal peace.
