Proud moment for the Lions Club Beirut Bay 💞💞

During the Lionistic year of President Najwa Husseini Alameddine, our club received the Membership Satisfaction Award from Lions International in recognition of our efforts, commitment, and dedication to service and membership growth throughout 2024–2025.

A heartfelt thank you to all our members whose teamwork and spirit made this achievement possible.
Together, we continue serving with passion and purpose.

We had lunch with the members and their partners at a restaurant in Badaro. It was a nice and relaxing gathering away from the usual formal atmosphere, giving everyone the opportunity to reconnect after a long and difficult period.

The lunch was filled with warmth, friendship, and positive energy — a refreshing change that allowed us to enjoy each other’s company and revive the spirit of fellowship that always brings us together.

أقمنا غداءً جمع أعضاء النادي وشركاءهم في أحد المطاعم في بدارو، وكان لقاءً جميلًا ومريحًا بعيدًا عن الأجواء الرسمية، شكّل فرصة للتلاقي مجددًا وإعادة التواصل بين الجميع بعد فترة طويلة من الظروف الصعبة.
ساد اللقاء جو من الألفة والراحة، وكان تغييرًا جميلًا سمح لنا بقضاء وقت ممتع معًا واستعادة روح الصداقة والزمالة التي تجمعنا دائمًا.

After several difficult months during the war in Lebanon, our Lions meeting was more than just a regular gathering — it was a chance to reconnect, support one another, and move forward together.

The meeting included the election of new officers, discussions about possible activities before the end of the Lions year, and most importantly, the opportunity to finally see each other again after a long period of challenges and uncertainty.

We agreed to organize an informal lunch for members and their partners, simply to spend time together, strengthen our friendships, and bring back the spirit of fellowship that defines Lionism. The gathering will also include a small fundraising initiative to support future club activities and community service projects.

It was a warm and positive reminder that even after difficult times, unity, friendship, and service remain at the heart of our Lions family.
بعد عدة أشهر صعبة مرّ بها لبنان خلال فترة الحرب، كان اجتماع الليونز أكثر من مجرد لقاء عادي، بل فرصة لنعيد التواصل وندعم بعضنا البعض ونتطلع معًا إلى المرحلة المقبلة.

تضمّن الاجتماع انتخاب الهيئة الإدارية الجديدة، ومناقشة إمكانية القيام بأي نشاط قبل نهاية السنة الليونزية، والأهم كان فرصة لرؤية بعضنا البعض مجددًا بعد فترة طويلة من التحديات والظروف الصعبة.

وقد اتفقنا على تنظيم غداء غير رسمي لأعضاء النادي وشركائهم، بهدف اللقاء وقضاء بعض الوقت معًا، وتعزيز روح الصداقة والزمالة التي تميّز الليونز. كما سيتضمن اللقاء مبادرة صغيرة لجمع التبرعات لدعم نشاطات النادي ومشاريعه الإنسانية المقبلة.

The Beirut Bay Lions Club successfully held an online awareness session titled “Echoes of Trauma in Family Life – The Invisible Impact”, presented by Lion Hanady A. Kronful, President of the Club and specialist in family and behavioral counseling.

Hanady shared valuable insights on how family trauma affects emotional health, communication, and relationships, emphasizing the importance of early awareness and professional support.

This initiative comes as part of the Beirut Bay Lions Club’s ongoing campaigns promoting mental health and emotional balance, reflecting our commitment to building stronger, healthier families and communities.

نادي لايونز بيروت باي نظّم جلسة توعويّة أونلاين بعنوان
«أصداء الصدمات النفسية في الحياة العائلية – التأثير الخفي»
قدّمتها اللايون هنادي قرنفل، رئيسة النادي ومتخصّصة بالإرشاد العائلي والسلوكي.

تكلمت الليون هنادي عن تأثير الصدمات العائلية على الصحّة النفسية والتواصل بين أفراد العيلة، وركّزت على أهميّة الوعي المبكر والدعم المهني للتعافي.

هذه المبادرة تندرج ضمن حملات التوعية اللتي يقوم بها نادي بيروت باي لدعم الصحّة النفسية والتوازن العاطفي، تأكيدًا على التزامنا ببناء عائلات ومجتمع أقوى وأصحّ.

بمناسبة عيد الجيش اللبناني، نظّم نادي ليونز بيروت باي يومًا ترفيهيًا خاصًا لأبناء شهداء الجيش في النادي العسكري في بيروت.
وذلك بحضور حاكم المنطقة 351 في جمعية أندية الليونز الدولية، الليون ميشال حسّون ُ و أمين مال مجلس المنطقة الليون الدكتور أنطوان بطرس والعميد الركن محمد الشعار رئيس قسم الشؤون في جهاز الرعاية في الجيش اللبناني
تخلل النشاط فقرات ترفيهية متنوعة، أجواء من الفرح والبهجة، وتوزيع هدايا على الأطفال، تكريمًا لتضحيات آبائهم الذين قدموا أرواحهم في سبيل الوطن. وقد أكد القائمون على النشاط أهمية الوقوف إلى جانب عائلات الشهداء ومساندتهم، لا سيما في المناسبات الوطنية.
