Loubnaniyoun is a non-profit organization, which aims to establish value for humanity by implementing improvements at various levels, mainly education, culture, environment and health. The organization seeks to ameliorate the living conditions for Lebanese people through the activities it carries out, as an attempt to compensate the lack of attention by the public sector. In this regard, the organ
ization pursued to help the Lebanese people by carrying out the following projects:
- On the educational level:
Loubnaniyoun has helped in providing scholarships for students in different Lebanese regions for five consecutive years as follows:
2013 / 2014: 288 scholarships
2014 / 2015: 178 scholarships
2015 / 2016: 196 scholarships
2016 / 2017: 198 scholarships
2017 / 2018: 266 scholarships
2018 / 2019: 129 scholarships
The organization believes in the necessity and importance of education and intends to pursue this project in the future, in order to help as many students as possible to obtain a decent level of education. This in turn would bring development to our country.
- On the environmental level:
Loubnaniyoun has contributed in planting more than 100,000 trees all over Lebanon, as a means to reduce the staggering level of pollution and alleviate the ecological problems that our environment is facing.
- On the health level:
Loubnaniyoun organized several health campaigns and free medical examinations to hundreds of people, and helped in providing wheelchairs to people in need. These activities helped in turn fill the void created by the Lebanese government throughout the years.
- The Role of Women in Politics:
Loubnaniyoun is aware of the need to emphasize the role of women in the Lebanese politics, considering that the level of participation of the Lebanese women in the political process is still extremely low.Therefore, for over two years, the NGO sought to establish a national document that promotes the participation of women in politics, in collaboration with the female representatives of nine principal Lebanese parties. Several conferences and forums were carried out to discuss and tackle the issue. The participants signed the national document and Loubnaniyoun will be engaged in the upcoming period in motivating and helping women participate in the municipal elections for 2016.
