Our Oasis DTS transitioned from the lecture phase to the practical phase, which has been ongoing for the past 4 weeks in Lebanon. The hospitality of our hosting team has exceeded our expectations, as they've not only imparted their wisdom and expertise but also opened doors to incredible opportunities. Our team have participated in different areas, including assisting at a community centre teaching English, and Arabic and English conversation classes, engaging with local schools, organising programmes for children and young adults, actively participating in youth days, and immersing ourselves in the local community, learning insights from their lives and culture as well as helping practically whenever possible. In the midst of our busy schedules we've also found time for some enjoyable moments, pray and have team time together, have well deserved rests and enjoy amazing food.
Please keep praying for our team as our time in Lebanon is quickly coming to an end and we embark on the next stage of our practical phase.
