AI now generates intelligent-sounding answers at scale. However, it cannot understand context, consequences, or accountability.
While AI can produce confident outputs, we are increasingly accepting its responses without questioning. The real responsibility shifts to us as humans.
This talk reframes AI not as a threat, but as a mirror, revealing what we as humans are underdeveloping in ourselves. It highlights a small but powerful action: the pause before acceptance, offering hope and agency rather than fear.

We are pleased to introduce Dr. Ayman Dayekh, the Founder and Managing Director of AZRE Consulting, with over two decades of leadership in business transformation across multiple industries.
He bridges the gap between strategy and ex*****on, leading digital transformation initiatives in complex, high-stakes environments across the region.
His experience spans work with diverse organizations and international teams, where complexity is the norm and ex*****on is critical.
Dr. Dayekh holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Côte d’Azur University, focused on AI and digital transformation in the GCC, along with executive education from multiple reputable institutions. He is a life long learner and researcher on Generative AI applications in business and organizational contexts.

We are more connected than we think.

This talk explores an ancient sequence of letters echoed across multiple languages through evolving visual forms.
What began as an architectural exploration of identity and belonging evolved into a deeper journey into the alphabet as a living archive of memory and continuity.
By tracing shared linguistic roots, the talk reveals how civilizations are deeply interconnected, reminding us that what unites us is far older and more enduring than what divides us.

We are pleased to introduce Jihan Chehayeb, a Lebanese architect and founder of Jihan C., a design studio that reinterprets history, language and cultural identity through contemporary design.

Jihan's work is driven by a curiosity about what we’ve inherited, often without realizing it.
Through her work, Jihan invites us to reconnect with our roots, not as something that separates us, but as a foundation that can bring us closer together, bridging cultures.

Most of us believe influence begins with words: the right sentence, the right tone, the right strategy.

This talk challenges that idea.

It explores how human interaction begins before language, how, within seconds of meeting, our bodies are already responding to each other through breath, voice, tension and presence.
Before we consciously form an opinion of someone, something in us has already moved toward openness or defense.
The talk introduces the idea of the “Biological Anchor”: the person whose internal steadiness subtly shapes the emotional climate of a room.
Not through force.
Not through performance.
But through the condition they enter the room with.

Nizar El Joukhadar is a Vocal Transformation Coach, Sound Healer and ICF-certified life coach who helps people reconnect with their authentic voice as a reflection of their nervous system and emotional state.
He integrates breathwork, vocal expression and somatic practices to support emotional release, regulation and clear communication.
Through his work, Nizar has guided hundreds from silence and tension to expression, confidence and embodied presence, redefining the voice as a gateway to truth and personal power.

What if opportunity wasn’t limited by systems, but redesigned by them?

This talk discusses how funding doesn’t always go to the best ideas, it often goes to those who know how to navigate complex systems. This leaves many grassroots organizations in places like Lebanon and across the MENA region behind, despite their real, on-the-ground impact.
The gap isn’t in ideas or capacity, it’s in access.
To create meaningful, sustainable change, we need to rethink how funding systems are designed and make them more inclusive, so that those closest to the problems have a fair chance to help solve them.

We are happy to introduce Farah Abi Mosleh, a community development practitioner, social entrepreneur and co-founder of NOVAI, an AI-powered platform helping NGOs, social enterprises and impact-driven organizations access funding opportunities, develop stronger proposals and connect with expert support.

Farah holds a Master’s degree in Community Development from American University of Beirut, which strengthened her expertise in participatory development and sustainable community change.
With over eight years of experience across humanitarian response, fundraising, women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship in Lebanon and the MENA region, she combines grassroots field experience with deep knowledge of international donor systems. Her work focuses on using innovation and technology to make funding more accessible, inclusive and effective.

🎤 We are excited to introduce one of our speakers Rebecca Akl.

Rebecca challenges the belief that talent alone determines success.
In male-dominated fields, especially sports, women don’t struggle because of a lack of ability, they face barriers such as limited structure, visibility and supportive systems.
Through this journey, it becomes clear that discipline is not just personal effort, but a strategy for growth and opportunity.

Rebecca is a professional basketball player with a strong commitment to excellence both on and off the court. As Co-Founder of Brainers Basketball Academy, Rebecca is dedicated to developing young athletes, fostering discipline, ethics and a deep understanding of the game.

In addition she is a Partner at Wellnest Organic Creations, where she contributes to promoting healthier lifestyles through organic and sustainable products.

This is not an easy time

and we’re not pretending it is.

There is uncertainty in everyday life.

We feel it too.

And yet, in a small village called Aytat, something is still taking shape.

TEDxAytat is not happening despite reality, it’s happening within it.

Because we believe Lebanon is more than resilience.

It’s a place where people continue to create meaning, connection and hope, even in challenging times.
