Avance School and Association for Epilepsy Avance was first founded in 1997 in order to protect individuals with epilepsy and special needs from disability discrimination.

Its aim is to create a safe environment and provide an education to help them achieve an independent and successful future. Avance is affiliated with the International Bureau of Epilepsy (IBE) and it's recognized by the Ministry of Interior (Decree no. 67) and by the Ministry of Education in Lebanon.
