🌊 IWO-72 Geomundo_3 | 캠프 돌아보기
2026년 세 번째 한국 워크캠프, IWO-72 Geomundo_3 캠프가 성공적으로 마무리되었습니다.
7월 25일부터 8월 3일까지, 13개국에서 온 21명의 국제 자원봉사자들이 거문도에서 함께 생활하며 지역 주민들과 다양한 활동을 진행했습니다.
이번 워크캠프에서는
🌊 해변 정화활동을 통한 해양쓰레기 수거,
♻️ 해양쓰레기를 활용한 업사이클링 활동,
🚩 업사이클링 안내표지판 제작 및 설치,
🎨 마을 벽화 작업,
🍽️ 글로벌 테이블을 통한 문화교류,
🎶 은빛바다축제 참여 등
환경과 지역사회를 위한 다양한 활동을 진행했습니다.
특히 글로벌 테이블을 통해 지역 주민들과 서로의 문화를 나누고, 은빛바다축제에 함께 참여하며 거문도의 일상과 문화를 가까이에서 경험할 수 있었습니다.
IWO-72 Geomundo_3 캠프를 끝으로 2026년 거문도 워크캠프도 모두 마무리되었습니다.
올해 거문도에서 진행된 모든 워크캠프가 잘 마무리될 수 있도록 도움과 협조를 보내주신 지역 주민분들과 모든 관계자분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다. 💙
이제 2026년도 한국 워크캠프의 마지막 캠프, IWO-91 Geumodo가 남아있습니다!

🌊 IWO-72 Geomundo_3 | Workcamp Recap
IWO-72 Geomundo_3, the third Korea Workcamp of 2026, has come to an end.
From July 25 to August 3, 21 international volunteers from 13 countries stayed in Geomundo and took part in various activities with the local community.
During the workcamp, volunteers:
🌊 Collected marine debris through beach cleanups,
♻️ Upcycled marine waste into new creations,
🚩 Created and installed upcycled trail signs,
🎨 Painted a village wall,
🍽️ Shared food and cultures through the Global Table, and
🎶 Joined the Silver Sea Festival.
The Global Table was a chance to share different cultures with local residents, while taking part in the Silver Sea Festival gave volunteers a closer look at the local community and life in Geomundo.
With the completion of IWO-72 Geomundo_3, the 2026 Geomundo Workcamps have come to an end.
