Ilshin Foundation The company operates the Art and Culture Foundation of Ilshin as part of its efforts to fulfill its corporate social responsibility.

Ilshin Foundation originated from the Hyung-nam Scholarship Society, which Ilshin founder Hyung Nam Kim established in May 1975 to grant scholarships to students from his private funds. The name was changed to the Art and Culture Foundation of Ilshin in November 1988 to expand his business scope to include the scholarship business, the business of supporting culture and art activities, and the business of supporting the costs of academic research.
