이스라엘은 팔레스타인 대학과 교육기관을 상대로 잔혹한 ’교육학살(Scolasticide)‘을 벌여오고 있습니다. 이에 팔레스타인 대학에 소속된 학자를 초청하여 팔레스타인 학술기관을 향한 탄압의 실태, 파괴된 교육 인프라 아래에서도 굳건히 교육과 학습을 이어가고 있는 팔레스타인 사람들의 목소리를 듣는 세미나를 진행합니다.

팔레스타인의 학술적 분투와 인내에 관해 설명하는 세미나에 참여 및 공동주최로 함께해주십시오. 팔레스타인 현지 학술계의 목소리가 한국 대학에서 울려퍼질 수 있도록 강의실 등 각 대학의 공간에서 오프라인 상영회를 진행해주십시오.

[🔊외부행사 홍보]

코쿤은 이번에 2026 모의 유엔 인권이사회를 개최하게 되었습니다. 그 주제는 바로 인공지능 시대에 더욱 중요해지고 있는 AI와 인권입니다. 이번 프로그램은 다양한 배경을 가진 학생들, 특히 모의 유엔 경험이 없는 학생들도 참여할 수 있도록 흥미롭고 쉽게 구성하였습니다. 본 프로그램에서는 유엔 전문가가 진행하는 교육 세미나가 준비되어 있고, 회의에 앞서 자신감을 키울 수 있도록 마련된 실무 교육 세션도 함께 제공됩니다.

이번 프로그램이 귀 기관 구성원들에게 토론 역량을 강화하고, AI와 인권의 교차점에 있는 중요한 주제를 탐구하며, 다양한 학생들과 교류할 수 있는 의미 있는 기회가 될 것이라고 합니다.

공적 권력을 이용한 차별과 혐오의 정치를 규탄한다
- 오세훈 서울시장 초청 토크쇼에 부쳐-

3월 25일, 바로 내일, ‘다시 성장하는 대한민국’이라는 제목의 토크쇼가 KAIST에서 진행될 예정이다. 성장을 화두로 하는 이 무대에는 그동안 장애인, 이주민, 성소수자, 청소년, 여성 등 사회적 약자의 권리를 축소하고 차별을 제도화하는 데 앞장서 온 이가 오른다. 그는 오세훈 서울시장이다.

KAIST 학생·소수자인권위원회는 KAIST를 모두가 안전하고 평등하게 존재할 수 있는 공간으로 만들고자 한다. 그러나 오세훈 시장의 행정은 우리가 추구하는 이러한 가치를 정면으로 거슬러 왔다. 우리는 그의 반민주적이고 반인권적인 정치를 강력하게 규탄하며, 그가 자행한 주요 차별 행정의 면면을 아래와 같이 고발한다.

We Condemn the Politics of Discrimination and Hate Enabled by Public Power
– On the Occasion of the Talk Show Featuring Mayor Oh Se-hoon at KAIST –
On March 25, a talk show titled “Korea Growing Again” is scheduled to take place at KAIST. The speaker who will take the stage under the theme of “growth” is someone who has led the institutionalization of discrimination and the rollback of rights for the most marginalized in our society: persons with disabilities, migrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, youth, and women. The speaker is Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul.
The KAIST Student & Minority Human Rights Committee envisions KAIST as a space where everyone can exist safely and equally. However, Mayor Oh's administrative record stands in direct contradiction to the values we uphold. We strongly denounce his anti-democratic and anti-human rights politics, and we hereby present the following cases of discriminatory governance he has enacted:

🙋학소위는 어떤 곳인가요?
KAIST 학생들의 인권을 보장하며 학생사회의 인권 감수성을 높이고, 소수자를 포용하는 KAIST를 만들기 위해 활동하는 학부 총학생회 산하 전문기구입니다.

🙋️어떤 활동을 하나요?
학소위에서는 다음과 같은 활동을 진행합니다.
- 🥳 소수자 인식 개선 활동 : 학기 중 인권행사, 가을학기 인권주간, 홍보 활동 등을 기획합니다.
- 👀 인권 침해 사안 대응 : 권리 침해에 관한 제보를 접수하고 대응합니다. 상담 교육 후 고충 상담을 진행하고, 인권윤리센터와 함께 성폭력 사건을 처리합니다.
- 🗣학내 인권 보장을 위한 정책 제도 구상 : 학내 소수자 개인/단체의 목소리를 듣고, 정책 제안과 권고를 중앙집행위원회, 각 자치단체, 학교 당국 등에 전달합니다.
- 🔗 인권 연대 활동 : 학내 인권벨트에서 활동합니다. 학생과 학내 소수자의 권리 증진을 위해 필요하다고 판단되는 사안에 대해 연대합니다.

🙋 학생단체인데 너무 바쁘지 않을까요? 친목 행사는 없나요?
국서에 소속되긴 하지만, 보통 TF를 구성해서 업무를 진행하기 때문에 본인이 직접 로드를 조절할 수 있습니다. 기본적으로는 회의와 상근만 성실히 참여할 수 있으면 충분합니다!
매년 가을학기 LT(Leadership Training)를 함께 갑니다. 시간이 맞으면 회식도 진행하니 우리 함께해요!

🙋 동아리방은 어떤가요?
접근성이 좋은 장영신학생회관(N13-1) 2층에 위치하고 있고 큰 책상과 프린터기, 많은 인권도서가 있습니다. 학소위원 모두에게 열려있는 공간으로, 회의나 상근 외에도 편하게 이용할 수 있습니다.

축하합니다!
지난 11월, 카이마루에 이동약자를 위한 경사로와 자동문이 설치되었습니다.
좀 더 구체적으로는, 저희 학소위는 포용성 위원회와 함께 카이마루(동측 식당)에 기울기 12 분의 1 (4.76도) 이하, 유효폭 1.2미터 이상(최소 0.9미터)의 경사로를 만들고, 경사로를 통해 진입할 수 있는 문을 여닫이 문이 아닌 자동문으로 만들기를, 혹시 불가능하다면 기존 정문 데크에 경사로 공사를 진행하고, 기존 문을 자동문으로 교체하기를 요청드렸는데요.
카이 마루 주현관에는 예산과 효용성 문제로 설치가 어려웠으나 좌측 방향 축면에 경사로를 설치하고 출입문을 자동문으로 바꿀 수 있었습니다. 보다 많은 사람들이 권리를 누리는 카이스트가 되길 희망하며, 해당 경사로와 자동문 설치를 축하합니다!

Congratulations!
Last November, ramps and automatic doors for the mobility impaired were installed on Kaimaru.
More specifically, our HRC, along with the Inclusion Committee, requested for building a ramp with a slope of less than one-tenth (4.76 degrees) and an effective width of 1.2 meters or more (at least 0.9 meters) on Kaimaru (east restaurant), make the door to enter through the ramp an automatic door rather than an open door, and if it is not possible, proceed with the ramp construction on the existing main gate deck and replace the existing door with an automatic door.
Budget and utility issues made it difficult to install at the Kai Maru Main Hall, but we were able to install a ramp on the left-facing axis and turn the door into an automatic door. Let's hope that more people will enjoy the rights, and congratulations on the installation of those ramps and automatic doors!

- 우리는 기억하고 행동할 것이다 -

모두가 보았다.
반헌법적 계엄과 포고령을 선포하고 계엄군을 국회로 보내고 국민에겐 짧은 사과를
본인의 정당에겐 긴 호소를 남기는 모습을

모두가 알고 있다.
하루라도 더 대통령의 권한을 유지하는게 얼마나 위험하고 반민주적인 일인지

그러나 또 모두가 보았다.
100만명 이상의 국민이 한 마음으로 이름을 불러도 다시는 국회에 나타나지 않던 국민의 대표 국회의원들을

우리는 참담하지만 냉소하지 않으며 이 분노로 다시 거리에 나설 것이다.

결국 여성을 배척하고 장애인을 짓밟다가 소수자를 넘어 전 국민의 기본권을 침탈하려 한 대통령과 그에 동조한 자들은 대가를 치르게 될 것이다.

We have witnessed it all.
A president declaring unconstitutional martial law,
Sending troops to the National Assembly,
Offering brief apologies to the public
While making lengthy appeals to his own party.

We all understand
How dangerous it is to let him keep presidential power
Even for one more day.

Yet we also witnessed
Our representatives, members of the National Assembly,
Who remained silent and absent
Even as millions called out their names.

We are heartbroken, but not cynical.
Our anger will bring us back to the streets.

In the end, the President and those who enabled his actions
Who first rejected women,
Then trampled on the disabled,
And now seek to violate the basic rights of not just minorities but all citizens,
Will pay the price for what they have done.

제 36대 학부 총학생회 총선거에서 진행한 학생 인권, 소수자 인권 관련 질의와 선거운동본부의 답변이 공개되었습니다.

학소위는 중앙선거관리위원회 주관 선거에서 다음과 같은 목적으로 인권,소수자 관련 질의를 진행해오고 있습니다.

[The 36th KAIST Undergraduate Association General Election Questionnaire]

The contents of the 36th Undergraduate Association election questionnaire contents and the answers of the election campaign headquarters are disclosed.

The answers are uploaded on HRC Instagram and page.

We HRC has proceeded questionnaire about human rights and minority during election for following purposes
1. Ensure right to know of classmates regarding candidates’ and election campaign headquarters’ awareness of students and minority human rights and what kind of related policies to be implemented.
2. Ensure that UA & each boards’ presidential candidates and election campaign headquarters can answer the questions that social minorities want to ask.

*Thanks to each election campaign.
** Please note that we are disclosing the election campaign headquarters’ answer in Korean/english without revising/processing.

[2024 인권부스 마무리] [Notice for completion of 2024 Human Rights Booth] [Translated] [For everyone] 11월 5일에 진행된 2024 KAIST 인권부스가 마무리되었습니다!

11/5 스포츠 컴플렉스 옆길에서 인권부스를 열어, 학내외 단체가 모여 부스를 열었습니다. 교내 단체인 학소위, 위로자전거 뿐 아니라, 대전충남녹색연합, 대전기후정의모임이 참여한 인권부스에 많은 학생 분들이 참여해주셨습니다.
인권부스를 통해 “기후문제가 왜 인권문제인가”에 대해 생각해볼 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

인권부스에 참여해주신 많은 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

A human rights booth was held next to the sports complex on November 5, and internal and external organizations gathered to open the booth. Many students participated in the human rights booth where Green Korea Daejeon-Chungnam and the Daejeon Climate Justice Group participated, as well as KAIST HRC and Upcycling club Welocycle.
It was a time to think about "why climate issues are human rights issues" through the human rights booth.

Thank you very much for everyone who participated in the human rights booth.
