The 1st U-STAR International Symposium 2026

On July 15, 2026, the 1st U-STAR International Symposium (UPNVJT Symposia for Sustainable Agriculture) officially commenced at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur National University in Surabaya, Indonesia. Operating under the theme "Sustainable Agriculture Resilience in the Global Era," the event serves as a premier academic forum to foster international dialogue, interdisciplinary cooperation, and innovation addressing critical challenges in global agricultural and food systems.
A central highlight of the opening session was the distinguished presence of ACLA President Chun Hyun-Jin. Representing the Asian Cultural Guide Association, Prof. Chun delivered a keynote address emphasizing the necessity of cross-border academic collaboration. Furthermore, he formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to officially establish frameworks for advanced joint research initiatives and sustained scholarly exchange across Southeast Asia.
The inaugural day concluded successfully, laying a robust foundation for forthcoming discourses on climate adaptive agriculture, digital farming ecosystems, and global agribusiness innovation.

The 19th ACLA International Symposium, hosted in Nanjing, China, has been widely recognized across regional media and partner institutions as a leading platform for academic exchange and cultural collaboration in Asia.
