Experiential Learning - Connection - Cultural Exchange at the Design Contest in 19th ACLA Internation Symposium and Design Contest.

As part of the Asian Cultural Design Contest, the Vietnamese postgraduate student delegation actively engaged in field trips, site observations, and academic exchanges with international peers.

The Asian Cultural Landscape Association (ACLA), in collaboration with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), is honored to announce our upcoming international joint conference. This symposium serves as a premier academic platform to foster cross-cultural exchange, promote mutual understanding, and contribute to the global preservation of cultural diversity.

ACLA x Zhijiang College | Advancing International Cooperation in Cultural Landscape Studies

On January 5, 2026, the Asian Cultural Landscape Association (ACLA) and Zhijiang College co hosted the 2026 ACLA Innovation Seminar under the theme “International Cooperation in Cultural Landscapes.” The seminar convened academic leaders and scholars to discuss sustainable collaboration in cultural landscape research, education and innovation.

During the event, ACLA and Zhijiang College’s Design School officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a long term cooperation framework focused on cultural landscape conservation, research exchange, resource sharing and talent development with an international outlook.

The seminar also featured in depth discussions on building effective international cooperation mechanisms, complementary resource integration and scalable win win collaboration models.

This milestone reflects ACLA’s commitment to expanding a robust academic network across Asia and globally. ACLA welcomes universities, scholars and research institutions to explore future partnerships and jointly advance cultural landscape studies and education.
