New Hope Cambodia is transforming the lives of impoverished children and youth within Siem Reap City by providing free education, health care and community support. It was established by Khmer man, Kem Sour, in 2007 on land that was a former military base, just a few kilometres from what is now the heart of Siem Reap. True to its vision, New Hope Cambodia has, and continues to, transform lives. O

The focus of New Hope Cambodia is ‘free education for all’ as the founder recognised the vital role education plays in helping break the cycle of poverty. Most families in New Hope Cambodia’s target areas cannot afford English school fees, books or uniforms. Many children are needed at home to mind younger siblings while their parent/s work, or are even required to work themselves to support the family. New Hope Cambodia’s school and programs are only able to operate thanks to the generous donations of sponsors
