On 27 September, the Intrepid Cambodia team will cycle 30km through Siem Reap to raise funds and awareness for CRST and the opportunities education can create for young people and their communities. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

🌏 September is our TIF Month!!! 💙

That means throughout the month of September, as a company, we celebrate the amazing work of The Intrepid Foundation and our partners around the globe. 🌍✨

Our Intrepid Foundation partner in Cambodia is CRST – Cambodia Rural Student Trust. 🇰🇭🤝

CRST is providing life-changing opportunities. They support students’ tuition at high school and university, and also empower them to make regular social contributions through community service and community project activities. 🎓❤️

They are offering a path for students to change not just their lives, but also their families’ lives and their communities. 🌱🌟

🚴‍♀️ To celebrate TIF Month, the Intrepid team in Cambodia will be cycling 30 km from our Siem Reap office to the Angkor Zone (Small Circle), Siem Reap, on 27 September 2026 to raise awareness and funds for Cambodia Rural Student Trust – CRST. 🇰🇭💪

With SolarBuddy lights, students have access to a clean, renewable source of light that allows them to continue studying after dark — one page, one lesson and one step closer to their goals.

Through Project L – Light for Education, we’re helping students in rural communities access more opportunities to learn and build a brighter future. 🌱✨

Because access to light can mean more time to learn.

🏠 A New Home, A New Hope

One day of teamwork can create something that lasts for years.

CRST students joined together for a house-building activity to support Mrs. Vuth Reab and her family, who live in Tuek Thla Village, Srae Khvav Commune, Angkor Chum District.

From preparing the materials to putting the final pieces of the house together, everyone worked hand in hand to complete the home in just one day.

Seeing the house completed at the end of the day was a meaningful reminder that when people come together, their efforts can create real change.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Rotary Club Sanary Bandol Ollioules for your generous support in making this home possible. Your kindness helps bring hope and create brighter futures for families in our community. 💙

Learning, improving and growing together. 🚲💙

Our Project B Improvement Meetings give the team an opportunity to reflect on recent activities, including bicycle donations, Mobile Bike Mechanic Days and other community initiatives.

The team openly discusses what worked well, the challenges they faced and what they can do differently next time. It’s an important part of building stronger teamwork, developing leadership skills and continually improving the impact of Project B.

Every activity is an opportunity to learn — not only from our successes, but also from our challenges.

Our French Learning Journey! 🇫🇷

Our students have been busy building their French language skills with Alliance Française Siem Reap learning new vocabulary, practising conversations and becoming more confident speaking in class.

From games and presentations to group conversations and interactive activities, each class gives students the opportunity to put their new skills into practice while having fun and supporting one another.

Step by step, their confidence is growing, and we’re excited to see their progress continue! 💙🤍❤️

Celebrating Synich’s MBA Graduation! 🎓

A few weeks ago, our CRST alumna Synich celebrated another wonderful milestone – graduating with her MBA from Norton University! 🎉

Synich first joined CRST in 2015 while still in high school. She graduated from high school in 2016, then continued her education at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC), graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in 2021. Now, more than a decade after first joining CRST, she can proudly add an MBA to her achievements!

What makes her journey even more special is seeing her give back. Together with other CRST alumni, Synich has been sponsoring CRST students and is currently co-sponsors Tola, helping another young person pursue his own education and future. ❤️

Congratulations, Synich! We are so proud of everything you have achieved and of the way you continue to support the next generation.

Understanding Yourself and Others 🌱

Knowing ourselves is an important part of personal growth. Understanding our emotions can help us respond to challenges, communicate more effectively and build healthier relationships.

Through Project E – Empowered for Life, participants explore self-awareness and emotional intelligence, learning to recognise their emotions, identify their strengths and better understand the feelings of others.

The more we understand ourselves, the more confident we can become in our choices, relationships and the way we connect with the world around us.

For many students in rural Cambodia, a bicycle is more than just a way to get around. It can make the journey to school easier, safer and more accessible. 🚲📚

Through Project B – Bicycles for Education, we provide bicycles to students who need them, helping reduce the challenge of travelling long distances to and from school each day.

A simple bicycle can make a real difference — helping students get to school and stay connected to their education. 💙

Our CRST students love coming together for their regular Glee Classes! 🎤✨

Through ongoing practice, they’re developing their harmony and vocal skills while building confidence, expressing their creativity, and enjoying the experience of making music together.

It’s always wonderful to see our students finding their voices, having fun, and growing in confidence along the way! 🎶💚
