Hot weather in Cambodia can quickly lead to dehydration. Protect yourself by drinking water often, carry a bottle, take small sips, and don’t wait until you’re thirsty. Staying hydrated throughout the day keeps your body cool, your mind clear, and your energy strong. Clean water is life, especially in the heat.

We are pleased to announce the construction of new incinerators at schools in rural communities to address long‑standing waste management challenges. These challenges have previously impacted student health and the surrounding environment.

The installation of incinerators provides a safe, sustainable solution that improves sanitation, reduces health risks, and supports long‑term waste management practices within schools.

This initiative is made possible through the generous support of The digiDirect Foundation, whose investment is contributing to healthier, safer learning environments for thousands of children.

“No water, no life. No blue, no green.” – Sylvia Earle

Water is at the heart of life, learning, and health. Without clean water, families struggle and schools can’t thrive. With it, toilets stay hygienic, students stay healthy, and lessons learned today protect futures tomorrow.

Project W - WASH for Education ensures clean water keeps flowing—so every child has the chance to learn, grow, and dream. 💧🌱📚

“Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.” – W. H. Auden

Water is something none of us can live without. That’s why Project W-WASH for Education creates and focuses on access to clean, safe drinking water. With biosand filters, students and families can avoid water‑borne illness, stay healthy, and focus on learning and daily life. Clean water doesn’t just support health, it supports education, strength, and a better future for everyone. 💧🌍

It’s not just hot by chance, some of what we’re feeling comes from our own actions. Plastic pollution traps heat and damages the environment. Cutting down trees means less shade and hotter air. And when the ozone layer is harmed, stronger sunlight reaches us directly.

All of this makes the heat worse, affects our health, and puts our future at risk.

🌱 Small things we can all do: Cut down on plastic by following the 4Rs: Reduce, Refuse, Reuse, Recycle.
Plant and take care of trees for more shade and fresh air.
Choose clean energy and avoid products that harm the ozone layer.

Every little action counts. Together, we can help cool the planet and protect life for the next generation. ☀️🌍💧

Celebrating the Royal Ploughing Ceremony🌾💧

On May 5, 2025, Cambodia celebrates the Royal Ploughing Ceremony, the traditional start of the rice-growing season. It’s a simple reminder of how important water is - for farming, for daily life, and for nature. Taking care of our water means taking care of Cambodia’s future.

Following productive April meetings with education officials and school leaders, we’re pleased to finalize agreements to install incinerator systems in nine schools across local communities.

This partnership reflects shared responsibility: we provide safe, sustainable systems, while schools ensure long‑term operation and maintenance. Together, we’re creating cleaner, healthier learning environments where students can thrive 📚🔥

Heartfelt thanks to The digiDirect Foundation for your continued commitment to community health and education.

We’re excited that our team recently joined the WASH System Strengthening Workshop in Siem Reap Province, organised by the WASH Skills Development Organization

This workshop gave our team valuable insight into how to effectively plan and deliver impactful WASH projects using five key tools: Policy and Legislation, Institutions, Finance, Planning, and Monitoring.

The training brought together passionate participants, including community leaders, local stakeholders, and development practitioners, all working to strengthen Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene systems. By applying these tools, organisations can improve coordination, increase impact, and help create healthier, more dignified, and sustainable communities.
