🌿 Take a look back at last year's Youth for Mangroves Summit (YMS)! We've officially published the YMS 2025 Booklet online for everyone to explore.

Our 2025 summit brought young leaders together to focus on the theme of "Sustainability, Regeneration, and Outreach" for Cambodia's vital mangrove ecosystems. Inside this digital booklet, you can dive into the details of the Trapeang Sangke Community eco-tourism model, read through our hands-on field guides, and learn about the project-based experiential learning our delegates took part in across Kampot and Phnom Penh.

Youth for Mangroves Summit — Final Pitch Day 🌱✨

After three days of fruitful learning, collaboration, and community immersion, our 10 student teams took the stage to present their final projects. Working day and night, these young changemakers transformed insights from the summit into innovative ideas aimed at protecting and sustaining mangrove ecosystems.

Each pitch reflected dedication, creativity, and a deep understanding of environmental challenges, as the teams shared their work with a panel of honorable judges. Inspiring solutions were sparked, meaningful conversations were exchanged, and the future of youth-led conservation shone brightly. 💚

As we officially conclude Youth for Mangroves Summit — Cohort 1, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters, partners, mentors, judges, community members, and delegates. Your guidance, trust, and support made this journey possible and empowered our youth to turn ideas into action. 🌿💚

🌿💚 Through the generous in-kind support of KHMER HOUSEHOLD & HEALTHCARE CO., LTD, Releaf Hub was able to extend the impact of Youth for Mangroves Summit 2025 beyond environmental action by donating KLEN hygiene kits to students from Sala Monkey Language and Arts School in Kampot.

These essential items help support children’s daily health, hygiene, and well-being, reinforcing the importance of care, dignity, and community support. This contribution reflects how meaningful partnerships can create ripple effects—benefiting both people and the environment.

We are truly grateful to be supported by partners who share our commitment to social responsibility and lasting community impact. 🌱💚

Youth for Mangroves Summit — Day 2 (Part 3) 🌊🌱

Day 2 continued with an unforgettable journey through the mangrove ecosystem as our Releaf Hub youth delegates embarked on a boat tour around the Tropaeng Sangke mangrove community. Guided by local villagers, participants explored the rich biodiversity and learned firsthand how mangroves protect coastlines and sustain livelihoods.

The experience came full circle with hands-on action. Together with the community, Releaf Hub proudly contributed 200 mangrove saplings, planting them side by side with villagers to support long-term ecosystem restoration and resilience. 🌿💚

From learning to doing, this moment reflected the true spirit of youth-led environmental action—rooted in collaboration, respect for nature, and real impact.

Our Releaf Hub youth delegates have officially arrived at the beautiful Tropaeng Sangke Community! 💚 Surrounded by nature and welcomed by the warmth of the community, our participants dove straight into a full community immersion experience.

From observing local mangrove conservation practices to engaging in natural workshops, this visit sparked meaningful conversations and fresh ideas for their upcoming environmental projects. 🌱✨

Being on the ground allowed our ambassadors to truly understand the heart of Tropaeng Sangke—its people, its ecosystem, and its importance to Cambodia’s coastal resilience.

Day 2 kicked off with excitement and high spirits as our ambassadors geared up and prepared to head to the Tropaeng Sangke Community for the day’s activities 🌿✨ Filled with anticipation and curiosity, participants gathered early, ready to learn, explore, and contribute to meaningful mangrove conservation work.

The energy was contagious—smiles, shared conversations, and the motivation to make an impact set the perfect tone for the day. This is where the real journey begins! 💚 Here’s a glimpse into our energized start to Day 2!

Youth for Mangroves Summit — Day 1 Recap! 🌱💚

Day 1 of the Youth for Mangroves Summit was packed with meaningful activities and unforgettable moments 🌿✨ From energizing icebreakers to insightful workshops led by Ms. Charlene Chan and Mr. Aok Chan Makara, our ambassadors kicked off the summit with curiosity and passion. We were also honored to welcome our special guest, Mr. Louis Ng, who inspired everyone with his message on conservation and leadership.

The day continued with Releaf Hub team-bonding over a warm lunch, followed by a cozy bonfire dinner that brought everyone even closer 🔥💚
