នៅថ្ងៃទី ១៨ ខែឧសភា មូលនិធិ CIESF បានចុះទៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សាត្រាំ ស្ថិតក្នុងក្រុងដូនកែវ ខេត្តតាកែវ ដើម្បីតាមដានវឌ្ឍនភាពនៃ "គម្រោងសៀវភៅព័ត៌មានត្រលប់" ដែលអនុវត្តដោយនាយកដ្ឋានបឋមសិក្សា នៃក្រសួងអប់រំ យុវជន និងកីឡា។
ក្នុងឱកាសនោះដែរ យើងបានចែកសៀវភៅសរសេរ ដល់សិស្សានុសិស្សសរុបចំនួន ១៦២ នាក់ ក្នុងកម្រិតថ្នាក់ទី ៤ ទី ៥ និងទី ៦ ដើម្បីលើកទឹកចិត្តដល់ទម្លាប់នៃការសរសេរ និងការឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីគំនិតប្រចាំថ្ងៃរបស់ពួកគេ។ ជាមួយគ្នានេះដែរ លោកគ្រូអ្នកគ្រូបានបង្ហាញពីការចាប់អារម្មណ៍យ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះសារៈសំខាន់នៃ "គម្រោងសៀវភៅព័ត៌មានត្រលប់" ដោយបានកត់សម្គាល់ពីតម្លៃរបស់វា ក្នុងការជួយសិស្សឱ្យតាមដានការសិក្សា និងការអភិវឌ្ឍខ្លួនរបស់ពួកគេ។
សៀវភៅកំណត់ត្រាទាំងនេះ ត្រូវបានឧបត្ថម្ភតាមរយៈយុទ្ធនាការវិក្កយបត្រពណ៌លឿងរបស់ AEON (AEON Yellow Receipt Campaign)។

On May 18th, CIESF visited Tram Primary School in Doun Kaev Town, Takeo Province, to follow up "Review Notebook Project" implemented by Department of Primary Education, MoEYS. During the visit, we distributed notebooks to a total of 162 students in grades 4, 5, and 6 to encourage writing habits and reflecting on their daily thoughts . On that occasion, the teachers expressed great interest in the importance of "Review Notebook Project," noting its value in helping students track their studies and personal development.
These notebooks were donated through the AEON Yellow Receipt Campaign.

On April 27, CIESF founder and chairman Okubo presented the Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. HANG Choun Naron with a Science Teacher's Guide for Grade 5, developed with the support of CIESF.

This year, we are planning training sessions on effective teaching methods utilizing this guide.

We hope that the guide will support teachers in designing their lessons, and that children across Cambodia will have access to quality science education.

លោក Okubo បានលើកឡើងនូវសំណួរសំខាន់ៗ ដើម្បីឈានទៅរកភាពជោគជ័យ រួមមាន៖

CIESF founder and chairman Hideo Okubo held a seminar on the theme of "Successful Organization or Company​" on April 24, 2026. This seminar was co-hosted with Dr. IENG Sotheara, President of the Executive Committee of CJBI (Cambodia-Japan Association for Business & Investment).
Mr. Okubo posed key questions for achieving success:
"What is the highest purpose of a company?"
"What is the true essence of a company?"
He then spoke about HOW TO BE the proper kind of leader.
Approximately 70 people attended the event. The group discussions and Q&A session generated a wide range of opinions. It was a valuable time for everyone to share ideas and deepen their understanding of how to build a “Successful Organization”.

We are excited to share that the Science Teacher's Guide for Grade 5 is now complete and launched!
This guide was made possible thanks to the support of CIESF's education advisors, as well as the teacher trainers at PTTC (Provincial Teacher Training Center) in Prey Veng and Svay Rieng provinces. We are truly grateful for your collaboration.

Completion is just the beginning — CIESF is planning to support teachers in putting this guide into practice in their classrooms. We hope this guide will be a valuable resource for teachers in preparing their lessons, and spark a love of science in the children they teach.

⚖ Learning the Joy of Science with a Handmade Balance Scale

We conducted a science demonstration lesson with instructors at the Provincial Teacher Training Center (PTTC) in Prey Veng Province!
Prey Veng PTTC is a long-standing partner with whom we have worked together toward improving education in Cambodia.

All the materials used this time were everyday items. Using plastic bottles, caps, a ruler, clips, and rubber bands — materials available anywhere — the Cambodian instructors themselves handcrafted the balance scales.
Even in schools where equipment is limited, experiments are possible with a little ingenuity. Expanding that possibility is one of our goals.

First, the instructors delivered a demonstration lesson, after which they reflected deeply on the lesson content together with fellow instructors and Japanese advisors.
By discussing the lesson from multiple perspectives, strengths and areas for improvement emerged that no one would have noticed alone.
Building on those discussions, the instructors then taught the lesson to their actual students.
Adding or removing bottle caps on each side of the scale, or shifting the position of the weights — sometimes the scale tips, and sometimes it balances perfectly.

"Why does it balance?"
"What conditions are needed to keep it balanced?"

These are questions we explore together with the students.
Students ask their own questions, think, and discover for themselves. That is the true value of inquiry-based learning.

CIESF is working to spread inquiry-based learning using handmade teaching materials, so that every child can access quality science education.

លោក ប៊ុនធឿន បានចូលបម្រើការងារក្នុងមូលនិធិ CIESF តាំងពីឆ្នាំ ២០២១ ក្នុងតួនាទីជាបុគ្គលិកផ្នែកបើកបរ និងជំនួយការរដ្ឋបាល។
ការងារជាផ្នែកបើកបរ និងជំនួយការរដ្ឋបាល បានបង្រៀនឱ្យលោកមានភាពហ្មត់ចត់ ស្មារតីទទួលខុសត្រូវខ្ពស់ និងការចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងកិច្ចការសង្គមរបស់មូលនិធិ។

ទន្ទឹមនឹងការខិតខំបំពេញភារកិច្ចជូនមូលនិធិ គោលបំណងដ៏ធំបំផុតក្នុងជីវិតរបស់លោក ប៊ុនធឿនគឺការប្រើប្រាស់សមិទ្ធផលពីការងារដ៏មានន័យនេះដើម្បីជំរុញឱ្យកូនៗនាក់របស់គាត់ទទួលបានការអប់រំខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ និងមានអនាគតដ៏ភ្លឺស្វាង។

Mr. Bunthoeun joined CIESF Cambodia in 2021. He has been working as a driver and administrative assistant. Working as a driver and administrative assistant taught him to be thorough, have a high sense of responsibility, and contribute to social work.

While working hard to fulfill his responsibilities, his biggest goal in life is to use the achievements of this meaningful work to encourage children to get higher education and have a bright future.

យើងបានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សា ពាមខ្វាវ ខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
We held a training workshop at PEAM Khvav Primary School in Kampong Speu Province.

សាលាភាគច្រើននៅកម្ពុជាមានការខ្វះខាតឧបករណ៍ពិសោធន៍មុខវិជ្ជាវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រច្រើន ទើបការបង្រៀនតាមការអានសៀវភៅសិក្សាប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ដើម្បីបង្កើតបរិយាកាសសិក្សាដែលកុមារអាច "រៀនសូត្រតាមរយៈបទពិសោធន៍" CIESF កំពុងខិតខំផ្សព្វផ្សាយការបង្រៀនតាមរបៀបស្វែងយល់។

We held a training workshop at PEAM Khvav Primary School in Kampong Speu Province.

In many schools across Cambodia, science classes tend to rely solely on reading textbooks, due to a lack of laboratory equipment. To create an environment where children can "learn through experience," CIESF is working to promote “Inquiry-based learning”.

During the workshop, a teacher conducted an actual lesson while our Japanese advisor observed. The theme was "magnetism." Students got to hold magnets in their own hands and experience the mysterious pulling force for themselves — their eyes were absolutely sparkling as they dove into the experiment.

After the lesson, we held a reflection session with all the teachers, openly discussing what went well and what could be improved. It was a valuable learning opportunity not just for the teacher who taught the lesson, but for everyone in the room.

We also heard some wonderful feedback from the teachers: "We want to learn more teaching techniques from Japanese advisors" and "We'd love to know more ways to run experiments." Their enthusiasm for learning was genuinely inspiring.

We will take all of this feedback on board and continue building better learning environments for children in Cambodia.
