Let's Plant តោះដាំដើមឈើ “Let’s Plant” is an annual project hosted by JCI - Chaktomuk. Let’s Plant! OBJECTIVES
1.

The project is designed to influence and build awareness perspective, recover damaged by ecological as well as human causes. Shihanouk Ville 2104

BACKGROUND
Cambodia’s coast is one of the most priceless assets the Kingdom possesses. Sihanoukville contains some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and keeps attracting tourists as a great source of income for its residents every year. However, in the last decade, the province has suffered from storms and floods caused by heavy rains, due to imbalanced forestation. In order to contribute to restore the coast’s natural beauty, JCI Chaktomuk is proposing the greatest tree planting campaign the tourist town has ever experienced! The event will be conducted in August 2014, after a series of successful toilets building projects we have implemented in the year. To raise awareness among the beach visitors and residents on trees favorable to the beaches/weather
2. To gather young active citizens to learn how to work together for their communities
3. To create a platform where companies can contribute to the society as part of their CSR policies
4. To encourage professional exchange among stakeholders on community
