Hello everyone,
As we are already aware, Nepal was recently struck by devastating flash floods along the Bhote Koshi River, causing significant loss of life, widespread displacement, and extensive damage to homes, roads, bridges, hydropower facilities, and other critical infrastructure. Search, rescue, relief, and recovery efforts are still ongoing.
To our friends in Nepal, please know that we are thinking of you and standing with you during this difficult time. Our heartfelt sympathies go to everyone affected by this tragedy, especially those who have lost loved ones, their homes, and their livelihoods.
In response to the call from the President of the Nepal Chapter, the Cambodia Chapter is organizing a fundraising effort among our members to support flood relief in Nepal. We hope that our small contribution can offer some support and encouragement to those affected as communities begin the difficult process of recovery and rebuilding.
Friends in Cambodia who would like to contribute may send their donations through Mr. Seng Hong, Vice President of AITAA, Cambodia Chapter. He will transfer the full amount raised to the Nepal Chapter.
Thank you for your support and solidarity with our friends in Nepal.
All the best to everyone,
AITAACC Executive Committee
