On June 6, 2026, Mr. Vann Oudai, representing the disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO), attended the "World Environment Day 2026 event organized by the Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN). The event brought together a total of 101 participants and 7 civil society organizations at Phnom Penh.
During the Q&A session, Mr. Vann Oudai expressed his deep gratitude to the organizers for providing him with the opportunity to participate in this meaningful World Environment Day event. Concurrently, he urged the organizers and all participants to actively include vulnerable groups, particularly persons with disabilities in environmental activities. He emphasized that "Persons with disabilities are not a burden to their families or society. On the contrary they possess full capability to contribute to national development and share an equal passion and commitment to environmental protection like other citizens.

The Disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO) Cambodia is absolutely delighted to welcome 4 outstanding thesis students from Norton University into our office as academic volunteers!
For these students, their journey at DYNO is about far more than just drafting a theoretical paper. It is an immersive, practical process to learn deeply about both robust institutional management and Disability Inclusion in Cambodia. By working closely with our management team, they will gain firsthand knowledge in establishing clear financial accounting systems and tracking protocols. Concurrently, they will dive into the core realities of rights-based social justice, universal design accessibility, and sub-national to regional policy monitoring.
We wish our new student cohort the absolute best in their research journey and thank them for bringing their academic energy to advance the rights of persons with disabilities!

On May 26th, 2026, Mr. Ngin Saorath, Executive President of the Disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO) and Executive Committee Member of the ASEAN Disability Forum (ADF) in Cambodia, attended a vital regional online meeting alongside ADF leaders and delegates from across Southeast Asia.
The discussion centered on strengthening strategic inclusion frameworks and advancing rights-based advocacy for persons with disabilities across the ASEAN region. Our collective vision remains firm: moving toward a truly inclusive ASEAN for all, ensuring that "No One is Left Behind!

On May 20, 2026, Mr. Eu Ly, Board Director of the Disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO), was invited to attend a meeting organised by the Secretariat General of the Disability Action Council (DAC) to discuss and plan for the “Global Information Technology Competition for Persons with Disabilities” or GITC. The meeting was organised with the objectives to prepare, train, and strengthen the IT skills of potential candidates to ensure good results in the competition. To widely publicize the GITC program throughout the country so that talented young people with disabilities can participate in the competition and show their abilities.
At the same time, the Disability Youth Network Organisation calls on young persons with disabilities who meet the age criteria, especially parents and guardians, to encourage, motivate, and provide opportunities for their children and grandchildren with disabilities to register and compete in the GITC program to show the world that “disability is not a barrier to technological knowledge.”

On 18 May 2026, the Disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO) met with representatives of UNICEF for the study visit and learned about the 10-year strategic plan and key priority activities of DYNO. The discussion focused on digital innovation and AI technology in the Smart Agriculture Project Property Demo Farm. Promote Inclusive Education and Health in a manner that is conducive to children, youth, and women with disabilities.
Modern Social Enterprise Models to mobilize sustainable source funding and financial independence. Expanding the regional network (ADF), responding to climate change, and promoting the implementation of laws on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of persons with Disabilities in line with the UNCRPD and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On May 13, 2026, youth representatives from the disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO) participated in a forum and workshop on "Job Inclusion, Employment Opportunities, and Accessible Infrastructure for People with Disabilities in Cambodia," held at the Kampong Speu National Library.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the National Employment Agency (NEA) and UNICEF Cambodia for organizing this workshop and providing our youth, especially those with disabilities, with full opportunities to access the labor market. Together for an inclusive workplace for all!
